For those of you that use Photobucket to link images on ECF

I am only using mine to host my own pics. I am not allowing uploads from others. Sort of a private photobucket.
For example:
Ext4 has a theoretical limit of 4 billion files, but is restricted to the limits set by Ext4 when the file system is created.
Here's my inode limits on my machine:
You can easily see that if GoDaddy restricts you to 250,000 inodes, you're going to bust that limit in a hurry if they're counting root. This is my home desktop running Mint. I'd SSH into my server and see what it showed, but I have full control over the VPS container, including root access. The numbers would probably be very similar to my desktop, with the exception of /home having more inodes in use.

But even that would be a violation if you linked back to one from ECF.
I'm assuming the counts are just your site files as the servers are shared servers. Geez, I can't believe I was global support manager for over 1000 windows servers, many w/ critical enterprise apps w/ SSL's of 99.99 uptime. I was burned out by retirement & quickly lost my interest in the techie side of computers. Oh how us tech's did resist & lament when we were forced to move from Unix servers to Enterprise Windows. (Oops, that flashback was triggered by seeing the df -i cmd)

Back during my active duty days, I worked in a NOC that supported the entire installation (10,000+ users). At the time, we were running Netware on all the servers and using GroupWise for email. Some pudknocker in the Pentagon decided that since NT and Outlook was cheaper, the Air Force should change over to that. Of course, they failed to include the overall costs of switching which would mandate a 3 fold increase in manpower and equipment to support an installation of that size. Then they whined and whined when the costs tripled and couldn't figure out why.

Typo, I was using the right command the first 12 times I tried it:Try the proper command?
It's df -i
Tech support said: "this command can not be executed on your side or by any users without additional permissions."
OK. Got to digging on this one. Seems a borked or missing mtab will cause your error message.
Your tech support stating it's been disabled would have me digging even deeper to see if that was correct. There really isn't any reason for them to disable that command.

I host my websites on Arvixe. So, I just created a directory (and subdirectories) to put my pictures in. Then just link directly to my pictures. Couldn't be any simpler. No 'bucket'/app to install. Nothing.

This wouldn't surprise me either. Tons of people must be fleeing.
Welp ... I just tried again this morning and same error. I can download individual pictures just not complete albums. I can wait it out I suppose ... I didn't use F-bucket to store backups or archives of my pictures. Anything important 'up there' I have local copies and backups. It's just dang annoying.
I snatched mine down last week and was successful. Tried it just now for giggles and get the same error you do.aarrgghh!
