The issue is with fragility. The Slim Pryex looks the best but is too fragile. The OCD is at least 3 or 4 times the thickness and of course looks a bit bulkier on the Twist. The OCD is not unbreakable like the Phiniac, but replacement tubes are a steel at $5. It's just a nice, simple, clean tank and works very well.

Anyhoo for the Vivi to incorporate Pyrex, it will have to be wider I would think. Won't have the same look as it does now. Could break easier.

Those look great. Ill probably get one if any of my plastic DCTs break orings or anything.

The Phiniac is not unbreakable. I broke mine less than a month into its life. Had it on my Provari stood on end on a tile floor. It was hot from hard vaping. Went to pick it up, knocked it over and bam, broke a big wedge out of it. It only fell 6 inches in an arc.

Thankfully, they sent me a clear glass replacement completely free of charge. The original was a custom blown design.

I'm very happy with the clear one and no breaks.

Ok folks here are pics of the new OCD Ibtanked Pyrex tank on a Twist. The OCD is on the left, the Slim Pyrex on the right.

Oh, nice .. thanks for the pictures. I was trying picture the size, the slim DCT, Vivi mini and T2 are around 13-15 mm and the F16 is 20-21 ish. At 19mm it's a bit larger than an ego, but definitely looks better than the wider DCTs, F16 and other pyrex tanks like the phiniac.

I've gotta buy one of those to try. :)

Hey. I already have 3. Ha ha. I have the 6ml Slim and fat and the 3 ml. The 6 ml slim is my favorite due to the cartomizer size, 45mm long. The 3 ml takes a 35mm carto and it can be harder to find in 1.7 which is my LR favorite. For now anyway. Theecig drip tips are more nice to put in mouth than trippy tips but not as durable. I haven't broken one yet. I'm pretty hard on things.
Theecig cartos are good but cost too much. They are Smoktek. I buy the 35mm 1.7 single coil one hole drilled from him when he has a sale. If the order is more than $25 it's free shipping. He'll give great customer service and almost always available. All you have to do is call. He won't disappoint

Someone posted here they are very fragile and I think they are supposed to be not so fragile anymore. There is a slow kinda long video, great for new people, that shows the new thickness now. The tips are kinda fragile. Here is a tip for the Pyrex tips. Use only one rubber gasket. Then the tip will move some back and forth like? You can have it leaning over and it reaches your mouth better if your reclined. I have sat on and slept on them several times and because I use one rubber little ring instead of two it moves instead of breaking and go for the long neck ones

Hi Faylool, sorry but I think you're confusing the different types of theecig tanks. The video is showing a different tank then the one I've been talking about.

I purchased 3 of these:

3mlGlsslim-2.jpg

3ml SLIM Pyrex Glass Tank With Chrome Metal END CAPS!

that are about the same thickness as the Smoktech DCTs. They ARE very fragile. In 2 months I have one left. This thread is really about the size of Pyrex tanks especially for use on Ego products.

Also I don't know why they say you can't use VG in the tanks. I just use Boge cartos instead or punch your own Smoktech cartos and the VG works fine. Unfortunately these particular tanks have to be handled with much care, can never drop, but they do look awesome :).

I've never understood why people have a problem with the pre punched holes with thicker juice. It won't wick in on its own, you just have to give it a good suck. Being able to push the tank down onto the Provari and create a vacuum helps, too.

Agree 100% Killface everything works with a good suck.
