I dry burn with readyxwick in and then blow hard on to the coil as it cools. Then, after it cools down, I lightly brush the white crud off the coil with a q-tip. I run a coil for about a month then wrap a new one.

28 gauge Kanthal parallel wraps for .6 ohms.
