Well I have been around for a while, and tried LOTS of things, but I am going to throw a ringer in here, MY game changer is Swedish Snus (ducks and runs for cover). I have been vaping for a lot of years, but I had to vape all the time, always had it in my hand. I thought I was addicted to the the hand to mouth, but I was wrong. Once I tried Swedish Snus, I was in my happy place. I do not feel the need to have something in my hand all the time vaping, I'm just satisfied with the Snus. I still vape, but I Snus more. (ducks and runs for cover again)
If they are less harmful than cigs...happy you found what works for you.:)

Love it, Burnie!

And I'm glad to see one part of it, because I'd have been afraid to ask what you held in your hands now, as a replacement.

To Snus! :toast:

I don’t even know what that is

It's an Evolv Darwin DNA circa 2010; the first VW device. It went up to a whopping 12.7w.

A lot of folks couldn't get past the looks of that thing; definitely not the cigalikes everyone else was using.

Many devices on this thread I've not seen before. You should check out the older threads from the beginning. Fascinating how creative the first generation vapers were.

This crazy thing, with it's colored lights, ridiculous toughness, and ultra-comfortable hand-feel, was still running a few nights ago when I finally removed the initial battery to possibly retire it forever. I have a 2nd (brand new battery), but I've also got a later one, version 2, that's smaller with higher wattage. The v2 was 34 watts when it came out, which was tops in the game back then (funny now, that).

I've got one left, and two (v2's) are still running hot & heavy out west (@Katdarling - when time & energy permits).

But what a truly absolutely amazing mod, in every way, and the v2 is still one of my most used desk mods today.

I retired it, instead of it retiring on me, after what - four plus years of heavy use, and not a single day of being treated gingerly. It was built to take a beating, and it did.

EPM Mods (And now for something completely different...)

Yes, Letitia - creative to the max. No display screen, yet did everything a mod could do, and vape that was (and still is) 2nd to none. Smoother than silk, and a true joy with every press of its marvelous button.

    Wonderful days (gone by). <3

I can't imagine this will get any interest, but I'm posting it anyway - more for my own nostalgic fun than anything else. A video review from the man who first brought the mod to my attention, such a long long time ago.

Saludas, amigos, and buenos noches & dulces sueños.

Love the looks of that mod. So hard to find a plain finish mod these days unless it's a mech. Nobody wants to see me with a mech. Run if you do.o_O

Thanks, Leticia, and I'm biased but agree completely. To this day it's the one that still makes me shake my head in appreciation. I love the crazy, nutty thing.

Unlike you I will use something I love until it dies. Then it finds a place of of honor where I can gaze at it wistfully and remember good times.

The reason I retired it is because I want it to have the premiere spot in my personal vape museum. It has earned that distinction, and I still do have the other (which is identical but with other advantages).

I used to call them The King & The Queen, but am now trying out life without a king (so to speak).

It's not stone yet. That 2nd battery still may find a place, in which case it would be in play for another 4-5 years.

    We ARE vapers! ;-)

    Nos-tal-GIA, to the maximum, @DPLongo22 ... wow.

My heart is full, and I could never have imagined what this would have brought me. Surprises abound in the vape world, do they not.

The EPMs have a truly treasured spot in my his/herstory as well, and tho my batts still fire, some day they will slow and diminish. I'm prepping a walker for them as we speak. ;)

Thank you from every bit of me for turning me on to and gifting me the experience of such an extraordinary device. One simply would not do...
