I'm gonna go out on a limb here Katland. I think you prefer your devices with a little Sparkle on them ?? Welcome to the thread.:thumb:

Ha Ha Ha There is a method to my madness. Poor memory and I DIY mix so I use same colors on bottles. I get comments on matching my nails to the mod I am using when out and about. Makes a change from being told dangerous :)

Ever since I posted , earlier in this thread, about genesis atomizers being one of my Game Changers, I've been wanting to buy one to see if they were as good as I remember. ...I basically gave them up after the kayfun came out, so it's been close to 4 years now. I traded most of them off and over modded the rest, so I'm now looking for a new one.....after reading through most of these posts, I don't really see many who vaped or still vapes them, but I will ask anyways. ....anyone know of a fairly recent, really good available genny? Seems like quality available gennies are slim pickings these days....

WHAT piece of vape gear was a GAME CHANGER for you?

This might be a fun thread for a day or three. ;)

This isn't a poll, nor will there be any tallies. You don't even have to say WHY it was a game changer, but ya can if you'd like to.

This is all just fer fun!!!! Do feel free to post more than once.

And pictures are MORE than welcome. :D

You don't have to tag a friend, but that could be fun too!!!

(oh, you who. @DPLongo22 )

I started vaping in 2011 with cigalikes and 510 attIEs. Drip 3 drops, vape 3 drops, drip 3 drops, vape 3 drops, DRIP 3 DROPS - :grr:

(In the car, at the bar, in the dark, mamma mia whatta lark!)

Game changer for me - The Darwin, with a Kartomizer! WOO HOO!

I started with a Joytech Exceed 19 and quit smoking cigarettes in 3 days!! I was only smoking 3-5 long cigarettes per day but still was physically & emotionally addicted! Game Changer!!!

My game changer was only indirectly a piece of equipment. I was lucky enough to find ECF* before I spent any money, and thanks to some good advice here I never had to go through the cigalike stage, or even the Ego one. I started out vaping with variable wattage on the Innokin VV v3. I'm still using VV v3s and tootling happily along. I'm only just starting to switch since it became pretty obvious that the VVv3s getting very hard to find now, and temp control is making more sense.

So, after all of that, back to my original point - ECF was my game changer.
and speaking of temp control, it still is.:vapor:

* I knew I had to quit, since nerve damage had reached the point where I was dropping a lot of cigarettes. Now that was an immediate health risk. (Ironically, we had a bad chimney fire about 3 months later and the house was 'totaled' by the insurance company. But at least it wasn't my fault.) After 42 years of smoking I'd already tried most of the ways to quit, but I'd read something about e-cigarettes. So in my usual way I started researching vaping, and it didn't take long to figure out that ECF was probably the best source of information around.

Although the meaning of GTA might have changed a bit in recent years, first tanks that come to mind are the Digiflavor Siren II, Mage, and the Mad Dog.

Haven't really looked into those because I thought they weren't genesis mesh atomizers. ..are they a tank that can be run with mesh wicks?

Very unlikely. Kinda my point about the meaning of GTA changed over time. My guess would be you're referring to the origin of the Genesis, perhaps Nextasis alike tanks, nowadays it mostly means reservoir at the bottom styled tanks.

Well that's my understanding of it. But then again, RBA, RTA, RDTA, all multiple meanings nowadays. (also keep in mind that i've only been vaping for 5+ years, 2 of which on Vivi Novas, so i'm still a n00b)

When I was looking for a Genesis type atomizer about 6-7 months ago, all I could find was the "RSST" that was still being built and sold. Higher quality Genesis atomizers were no where to be found (like the Origin) so I got a couple "RSST's" (New) and different size mesh and started to play. You might still be able to find something in the Classies that is of higher quality, but I didn't find anything still being built.

I had an authentic Kraken Genesis RBA from Vicious Ant, my first and only geny, I enjoyed it when it was around, I sold it a year later, Genesis RBAs wasn't close to drippiers, imo. I'll always give new products a chance to see what the buzz is about, the fun part of vaping.
