I'm finding vape life just oh-so-adventurous enough, LOL.
Also, after my various life adventures over the years, I have come to prize nice, peaceful times, without feeling like I'm going to have an incipient heart-attack. I actively listen to as little news as I can (between the kid and the husband, I get alt.right and crooked.left so I form my own opinions).
My sense of adventure these days is more in line with mountain climbing (with ropes et. al) not waking up in a drainage ditch, wondering how I got there.
By the way, the type of stories above^^^^^^ are best not told to parents, I have found. I was giving my mother a guided, storied tour of the times I remembered in college, I don't think I have ever seen her paler, so I shut right up. My thought was, "Hey, all in the past, I'm totally fine," but that was not apparently HER thoughts.
My kid casually will sometimes inject such stories, but I have more internal fortitude, I usually laugh, ask for more details, then tell him off.
