As of yesterday the black rubber/plastic thingy of the ACF ring of my GEM is loose. Will have to think of something.

Meanwhile just cut a piece from an old eraser and stuff it in.

What type of wicking issues are you having?
Non consistent wicking, not fully saturated wick (sometimes)... I have been wicking so many RTA's and RDA's for a long time, and I never had such challenge. That's why I think may be the glass tank is causing air pressure problems because it is not perfect... It doesn't leak, but if it not sealed right, it will cause wicking issues

If the seal is lost it'd only cause 'leaking issues'. Infrequently flooding the chamber. But no dry-hit issues.

my afc was a little loose for me and since i had some 5mmx1.5mm orings laying around, i cut one in half, slid the old one out, new one in, used fingernail clippers to cut it close but not as close as the old. now its much stiffer, and since the oring is curved it stays in the tiny hole tightly.

hope that helps

The only time I have had any wicking issues was when I had far to much cotton. Basically it was to compact in the juice channels and could not saturate the ejuice and eventually dried up and was hardly producing any vapor resulted in the dreaded dry hit. After this I am using half the amount of cotton and the wicking has been perfect.

So I decided after reading everything I can and watching all the videos I did just arrive at the wrong time to this thread previously I want to get one now the problem is I can't :/ any idea when more will become available? How large are batches usually? I have to go in for some brain surgery and during recovery I won't be using a computer for a while I'm hoping I can grab one before that next four weeks or sooner is that possible?

Now regarding the small
Adjustments or issues that have been faced is there anything I need to check when I first receive it? Or fix?

I did read through. However brain surgery - condition glaciers memory issues. Sorry. If anyone could just nutshell anything I may need to look for.

Thanks so much!

to summarise, not too much wire (certainly no thicker than 26g), care with shorting on the deck and the chimney (its pretty tight) and not too much cotton and you should be good to go!!!

Good luck with everything!!

cheers
