How do I purchase the gem TI? It's out of stock on the website.
Unfortunately it was limited to 206, that's why I bought 2. Apparently, Mark Bugs is in the process of manufacturing a new batch of the stainless steel GEM, which should be available in the next month or so. If you're interested, check out his website to keep updated,

Thank you guys. I found a local seller gonna walk in tomorrow and hope I can pull the trigger. I'm a flavor chaser. Does the gem TI out perform kayfuns in this area? I'm sure many here have both. For wicking will Japanese organic cotton work? How about juice consumption? Got a friend who moved from subtank mini to a Russian 91% swore that it halved his juice consumption.

The kayfuns produce a rich flavor but ursine line with a lot of other atomizers. Just more of it. The gem not only has a concentrated flavor. For a lot of my juices they taste totally different. Like this snickers juice. Kayfun is mostly fake chocolate and a bit of caramel. Not great. The gem is very heavy peanut while the others are accents.

I've never had it change the flavor of a juice for the worse. So yes it produces as strong or stronger if a flavor but it also brings stuff out no other tank except Maybe the spheroid does n

It and the spheroid are without doubt the best tasting atomizers I've ever tried.

Start naming tanks. I'm sure I've tried a lot on your list. Gem and spheroid win hands down. M
I find the taifun gt2 produces better flavor than the kayfuns

I have a Kayfun V4, Hurricane 1.3, Squape R, and personally I think it beats all of them. The coil and build deck sit so high in the chamber that all the vapour just goes straight up the chimney!!

That totally depends on the build I can go through a tank as fast as a sub tank if I build it to like .7 and running at 20 W it's gonna plow through juice and blow huge clouds it's capable of being a club machine and just guzzler if you build it that way

Damn it's 1am here, shops are closed. Getting excited about dropping by the shop tomorrow. Since there is a limited stock worldwide. What should I look for to detect clones or fake ones?
The center pin of the clones is totally different as far as I know see if you can take a look at a picture if not I'll post a picture of what the center pin look like also it should come with a piece for a hybrid connection to a W a e

Also
Chimney has serial number on titanium which happened right after clones came
Out so in guessing that's why. Or
Maybe cuz it's
Limited.

Hey guys I just decided to try something with the gem and it turned out fantastic.

SS 430 in a proper microcoil. Remember microcoil is a subset of coil. They're not the same thing. Not every coil is a microcoil but every microcoil is s coil.

Microcoil is defined as

1.5mm inner diameter or less.
Around ten wraps or more
Typically 28 gauge or smaller (30,32,etc)
The major benefit is even smooth heating that occurs quickly. Much more sim than a standard coil larger than 1.5mm.

Ten wraps here fits perfectly. Contact coil works great so long as you elevate the coil to the height of the legs. If you have hot legs move it up

Wick as thick as possible (barely makes it through)and cut just inside the channels.

Coil is .67

Tcr for 430 SS is .00138 it's $10 for 200 ft of 28 gauge from unkamen and it's great wire.

28 gauge Stainless Steel Wire - 430 Grade Nickel Free - 200 feet - 100% Guarantee - Unkamen Supplies

This is amazing flavor even for the gem it's another notch up and temp control is working perfectly on the Yihi l. This wicks consistently - and feeds to the point you could hold the button and vape for five mins and it would just keep cycling (assuming your mod would let you. I'm illustrating a point!) vapor density is a bit lower but production is good. Conserves juice comparatively.

You get the idea. I only have two hands here.

Give it a shot. Flavor vs vapor production is just under twice as much. Meaning I'm getting almost twice the flavor intensity at similar vapor production levels.

I hope someone gives this a .... and enjoys it! As for the stainless the tcr and this wire are spot on. It's the smoothest and most accurate stainless steel tc build I've had. Id say that's due to the grade of stainless and the quality of the supplied wire

It's odd that you get 7x as much for $4 less than 317L when it seems to vape so much better than 317L. Which I also ordered from unkamen

You can also then switch mods to a non temp mod and it works fine there too. Bear in mind you can do this build with kanthal. To test out if you like the less dense vape which packs more
Flavor per volume

GEM, by MarkBugs -Romania, is a very efficient atomizer. Much like the Erlkonigin - by i2r, Austria. Both are one of the few attys so designed to consume as less as possible e-liquid while keeping all other factors constant, vis-a-vis coil dia, heat applied, frequency of draw, amount of airflow etc. with regard to other tanked attys.

In my experience the GEM consumes nearly 1/3rd the juice as the Kayfun4 does. A little less than the Kayfun Lite. Near half of that of the SQuape-R, Rose v2 and Aqua v2 in single coil mode. The Chinese Sub-Ohm tanks, by nature & design, will consume nearly three times the amount of the GEM.

What give the best flavor, The wick loose or tight in the coil? More or less wick?
there isnt one answer to that I'm afraid. Depends on a number of things, mostly what you are using to wick. In general, whatever you use, too loose will give poor wicking and popping, too tight will restrict juice flow too much. Tighter for rayon than cotton...

I've been using Rayon. I use 100% PG. Just curious if I should pack it in or keep it loose?

My limuted expoerience with rayon is that is kind of compacts when its juiced up so packing it in tight is ok as it will loosen. Never used 100%PG but it is best for flow as it is less viscous. That can present problems with too much flow and flooding if not wicked right.

@qorax is a rayon expert and Im sure he will chime in with some wisdom on this!

I use 1/3rd the CC-Rayon stock width for a 2.4/5mm coil. Whatever the viscosity of the juice may be. For a higher VG juice I just do the following two steps additionally:

1. Cut the wick ends in an upward angle,
2. Flare them up, so that the ends are fibrous.
