Well the new version comes with the tube and it's interoperable. Mark bugs had stated it was available at their site but you're talking $60 US at that point which is ridiculous for the part. Maybe you can work it out with one of the super nice members here who will never really use it.

To be honest though the 650 is a little shorter than the p3 in 500 mode. The provari to me is absolutely huge unless you use it in 350 mode where it's only just the same size as many others in 650 so I'm guessing you're using the p3 in 350 mode? If so maybe you can resolve to the fact you're getting 8-10x the battery life of the p3 in 350 Mode for about an inch more. I get that doesn't make it smaller but at least there's a positive.

Perhaps if you order from Mark bugs directly you can add it. Or contact them as I did and ask when they will be shipping the part to vendors in the USA. Please take note if you buy an atomizer and a wae part. You're more than likely
Going to be paying $20 import tax on top
Of the parts and shipping if you live in the USA. It needs to be under about €190 to avoid that.

I certainly prefer the wae in 500. But I liked it in 650. For me taking the provari in 350
Mode just doesn't give me anywhere near enough battery life. So adding even two more batteries to my pocket would mean carrying the wae in 659
Would take less room overall. I do understand throwing batteries in a briefcase nullifies that. And I do think It's worth getting if possible.

Surely there's a big time mb collector here with a spare 500 tube who will sell it for $40 if it's never used

Guys? Help him out! :)
Thank you Hooligan for taking the time to respond to me.

Yes, I do use the P3 in 18350 mode, and I am a she [emoji4], so I carry around a huge purse full of spare batteries[emoji5]. The solution isn't ideal, but it works, as I really prefer the more compact size of the smaller mod.

I will continue to watch the classified adds and occasionally check w the US vendors going forward in hopes of finding the smaller tube for the WAE2.

Again, many thanks for your efforts, and good luck w your recovery.

Cheers,

Tracy

Ma'am, you may like to contact MarkBugs (either thru a PM here, or vide an email) and request them to send you one. They have the 18500 tubes in stock, I know that.

I have both. The hurricane is much bigger and heavier. It's chamber is bigger so the Gem has a bit more pronounced flavor. However, the hurricane has excellent flavor. The build deck on the hurricane is far more versatile and the airlow is more open when adjusted wide open.
Todd posted a picture of an updated GEM with more air, any more info on this?

My apologies for not noticing or getting gender correct!

The airflow increase to me isn't worth anything. Hit I used it opens it up for lung hitters. Kind of. The chimney is still to restrictive guess for the hardcore lung people. Most want more than 3 mm. At some point there's a diminishing return.

I can see the market I ceasing greatly for the new one with more air flow if it's tangible and the old ones will have the same limited audience.

If the chimney diameter increased then I would have serious reservations about the flavor remaining as good. And with a 2mm chimney there's a point at which no matter how kaegeje air intakes you're not functionally getting more air.

I'm sure they figured all that out. It's a shame they didn't figure it out before releasing the titanium model. I'll wish another 8 weeks for version three then decide

If all we are looking at is more airflow, I'll pass.
IN MY OPINION, the GEM-1 already has amazing airflow. In fact, it's got the perfect airflow for my style of vaping. I actually close the airflow until the hole in the ring is juuuuust past the hole in the body.
To be clear, I am NOT knocking the GEM-2...in any way.
I'm just speaking to those who might have been angered by the sudden release of a GEM-2, so shortly after the Limited Edition Titanium GEM-1 was released.
I definitely am waiting to hear/see more about this new model.

    Gem2 INFOSHARE:

Let me be candid to you guys. the "main" difference is ONLY THE AIRFLOW. It was designed due to a severe demand for more in the forums. There are a few other changes - but those are subtle. I'll let you know those in my video.

The vape experience remains EXACTLY THE SAME as the original SS Gem if you close the AFC just past 2/3rd. That is if the first Gem's AFC was fully open. So, in a nutshell, in simple terms, the only thing is - this GEM2 is three times opener than the first SS GEM and twice as open as the Gem-Ti.

Thus, if you're happy with the draw of your first GEM ~ you have no reason to go for this one. Nothing severely changed for you. But if one is a first time buyer of GEM ~ this version makes more sense. B'coz now s/he can fine tune the draw further.

    PRICE: 139 Euros

Hello--this is my first post on ECF, so I apologize if it's awkward or if this topic has long since passed. I just received a Gen Ti and just looking for a suggested build. I have found that the guru who I have found to be named Qorax has a tutorial of sorts? I'd love to just watch nit. I know I'm pretty close here but can't find a link or anything. Any help/direction would be awesome--thank you everyone!!

Well Titanium Gem on a mini volt may be the lightest best 8 hour vape You can get

Inexpensive mod with one minor issue but man it's tiny and light with the titanium.

I realize it's not cool or boutique. It inshore richest as chips and functionally great.

Smaller drip tip and 21 mm beauty ring would probably be better. For $31 shipped the mod is great. Heh

Thank you Qorax--one more thing please!! i sent you a message on facebook, so if tyou haven't read it you can delete it. Just want to know what's about the best build for the GEM-Ti? I have a 24 kanthal with like 6 wraps on 2.5 bit. Better at like 26 or 28? stay at 2.5 bit? wraps?

Thank you Qorax! I won't bug you much more after this!! Just got it and want to get the absolute best performance I can out of it. Anything better than the GEm (Ti or not) in terms of flavor? Hurrican is good I know, I see Squape R(s), etc.
