Thanks. I will definitely give it a shot with the battery themselves. I hear you on the bottom cup as adjustment. It is always screwed in all the way with no contact. I have to stick a spring in which I inevitably lose every time I need to change the battery. If you had to glue a contact into place on either the top or bottom where would you do it and when I say "glue" I guess it would be soldering?

I would just order a couple of the batteries mentioned that work without issue, I wouldn't start soldering or gluing anything, definitely don't need to do that

Agreed. I have AW 18650 flat tops and they don't fit. I will try pulling up the top of course but does AW also make them with a nipple and that is what I should be looking for? Those I can find locally. But yeah, I will try a couple of the other ones folks have recommended.

Yeah, I've only ever used the nipple AW.

The VTC4 or LG HE4 will get rid of most of the thread ring or whatever its called, I would shoot for a couple of those. The AW nipples are taller, so the bottom won't screw down nearly as much

I'm gonna go make sure the HG2 fit perfectly real quick too, those are probably the best ones to get right now, 3000mah

^^^ I use LG HE2's in my WAE, too, and they work very well.

Sent from my P3 Ti...
20A and 3000mah, oh so nice

I got some 30Qs coming from a GB ($5.20ea, hells yeah)...curious to find out if they wind up fitting the WAE2 also.

It is nice that all the LG batts fit so nicely though, I've been running the HE4s in my WAE2 for a little while now, and the battery cap tightens down exactly where you would want it too [emoji14]

I will have to mail order some of this VTC4 or LG's. For whatever reason all the vape shops where I am sell Efest's with flat tops.
Ginger Vape has LG HG2s, aren't they in NY?

Anyways, I would save a couple bucks and get the HG2s, they have 900mah more capacity then VTC4s, and are $7.99 instead of $10++

I would stay away from the protected batteries. Use AW, vtc4/5, lg he2/4, samsung 25r. Any of those will work.

Samsung 25r does not work in the WAE2. The others do.

Best bet today is the LG HG2 3000 mah.

I shouldn't comment on that because I've taken mine apart and retrofitted a dna 40 large screen. I may have lowered the positive battery contact on the reassembly. My 25r works great in mine.

Haha, yeah...don't tell anyone else to get 25Rs just because they work in yours :D
