*GEM: A new RTA by MarkBugs

I personally think in kanthal builds the p3 vapes better slightly than the wae. However I find it too large and heavy in 18650 to take with me. I'd only go out with 18499/500 at most. And that's under half the battery life of 18650

Here are some Weights you may find helpful. Both tanks are about half full

In 18650 mode

P3 and ti gem weigh 213g
Wae and ss gem weigh 178g
Wae and ti gem weigh 158g
P3 and ss gem weigh 234g
Boxer and ti gem with two batteries is 180g and the boxer does better temp control than the dna40

I'm off. Clearly I need some sleep!

I vape the GEM in TC on the Dicodes, with the NiFe wires from them. Unbelievable taste!!

By the way, I noticed that the 2.5mm coiling rod does not slide into the slotted groove perfectly on the build deck. The slots on the build deck are a little wider at the ends and seems to taper ever so slightly near the airflow region so my 2.5mm coiling rod isn't able to fit in.

Has anyone encountered such issues before?

Tested it on all 3 gems and they turned out to be the same.

Yep, the 2.5mm coil rod is a smidge too big.
Consistent with all my SS and Ti Gems.
I use a 3/32 rod for all my Gems.

Yes but I still use it to coil. Just place a little high and then move it down. Except now I am liking the true microcoil of one and one-half mm. Great flavor.

the 510 base of the gem is stuck to my mod.. felt so stupid. it happened when i felt some juice on my hands and noticed that the connection between the RBA and 510 base was a little lose. I tightened it while the tank was attached to the mod and I think I might have ended up over tightening the 510 base to the mod instead. Won't come out. Tried rubber bands wrapped clothes it won't budge. Happened to anyone before?

I tightened it while the tank was attached to the mod and I think I might have ended up over tightening the 510 base to the mod instead. Won't come out. Tried rubber bands wrapped clothes it won't budge. Happened to anyone before?

Putnitnin the freezer then place a towel on a counter and very gently tap the base portion of the towel on the counter.


It's happened to me before. The key is not.to tighten the top without holding the tank

Freezer alone may do it. Give it ten minutes. Take the battery out of the mod obviously.

Wow. That's a lot. Are you running a shop? Three to gems? Do.you vape a lot of different nicotine levels and flavors? That's what I find makes.me.keep a lot.of.tsbks.in rotation. Though I'm moving now to drippers and squonking setup in the house so I can just change some cotton and go mostly

Are those the new pick tanks? I read good things. Trying to suss out everything that in that photo!

Want a five day old HnP by any chance I need to..sell.jt to.buy a chalice iii and another something. Heh. I kid I kid. Well. Kinda.

Try pushing the piece down into the mod while trying to unscrew it.

How long did you leave it on and did you then tap it gently on a counter? You can use the fast ares to avoid damaging it. The combination has literally never failed me. Give it a slightly longer rub of 29 mins but don't exceed that. No issue with condensation at those times or for even quite a bit.lomger. just don't leave it too long. Or Putnitnin a bag of rice if you see condensation (you won't in twenty minutes)

I wished I ran a shop but no, they're for my personal use. Two of the Gems are mine and the third one is for a friend. Sold one of my two gems earlier on today though so I'm left with one.

I like the idea of having more tanks as it making rotating around flavors a lot easier and as of now, i don't have enough atties to put on top of all my mods.

I'm running on a mixture of Hurricane V1.3 by E-Phoenix, EdenMods Snapdragon V1.5, PICO rta, Origen Genesis MKII V2, Mark Bugs Gem Ti, Kayfun V4, Nextiny and Hobo V3.1.

I feel that different juices vape differently on different tanks and it's all about synergy.

My favorite setup so far has to be the snapdragon because it is easy to build, really flexible and does TC really well because of the way it clamps the wires.

i haven't had the time to build on the GEM but based on reviews here, it should be good.

And yeah, those are the new PICO's by Birks Gabish. Flavor on them is very intense especially with the optional Reduced Chamber. By far one of the modt flavorful RTA until I try the gem.

The Origen is also hard to beat because it is essentially a RDA with bottom feeding wicks and the reduced chamber makes for a warm and intense vape.

I think I finally got the wicking for flavor down. I'm quite a noob vaper so it took me awhile. I build on kanthal 28g, 2.4 mm, 6 wraps, 1ohm, wicked with muji organic cotton. The vape is seriously smooth, smooooooooth..

I have a few questions:
1) Is it normal for juice to come out of the air hole each refill? I only fill up 50%-60%. Did the close airhole. upside down thing and it still leaks. I have to prep tissue to blow juice out. I even had the shop owner who had owned a ss gem for awhile to build for me during the first few days. Same thing happens. He said its normal.

2) when I chain vape I feel a very small amount juice in my hands but I checked air hole and drip tip nothing seems to be leaking more like condensation outside the glass tank but it smell like juice. Is this normal?

3)is there anyway to build without the dry burn deck?
