I think they don't want kids waiting for school buses when the temperature is cold enough that the risk of frostbite increases. It might have a little to do with the cost of heating school buildings as well, but I think it's mostly the frostbite thing. That's what my school marm wife tells me, anyway.

I still have my 'union suits'. I could not part with them. Hubby and I had matching ones, for our other home, in Northern Maine.

Yeah, that sounds about right . . . the not knowing how to dress for it part, anyway (we don't cancel school for just cold). It's been about -5 every morning the last few days and while I'm on my way to work I've seen kids waiting for the bus wearing shorts every day

I hired a Personal Assistant today. I should have done it months ago. But, I hate spending money. Except for cool stuff!

I have not been 'up to' the task of wrapping up my Mother's estate. Not that it is big, it's not, but... I have had to wrap up so many people's estates. Family, friends... So many! And always, by myself. It is so depressing! This time, I am going to have help! He starts Tuesday! Yes!

I never road anything, but a Harley. Except once, when I was like 17, I rode an Indian. So, I have nothing to compare. I rode dirt bikes as a kid. I started riding my Father's Harley at 15. Bought my own at 17. Like I said before, in my town, back then, you really didn't have a choice. I mean really .. no choice......

After that, I just stuck with them. Bought my last one, in 2010. Had it delivered on my birthday. An attempt, to cheer me up.
