I have no idea if all coppers age like whatever copper this one is made of, but this one is more than interesting.
No they look the best when well aged....Like an old copper penny.
I am not a patina fan.

Those of you that share your life with Cats and actually enjoy it can probably relate. Its such a great feeling when a Cat decides to honor you by "claiming" you. Especially when they decide to use your chest as a bed and spend almost an hour grooming or napping on you. This almost always happens when you are in the middle of something like working on Photoshop or enjoying a vape. What can you do when they stare lovingly into your eyes and give you the slow blinks.
I love watching that show...... most of the time is obvious its not so much the cat but the "caretakers" He is just someone that decided to observe cats and realize they are NOT dogs and uses basic logic.
So he claims.
My cat, the one who loves me and that I love, poops 1 foot *outside* the box. Galaxy had a specific episode which addressed this. Yadda yadda get a shorter box that the cat will feel more comfortable getting in, blah blah blah. So I did, damn cat still pooped on the floor but additionally peed on the wall because the box was too short.

I put up with my cats' wacky behaviors; they put up with mine. Human or feline wackiness--it's mostly a distinction without a difference in my home.
Yeah, though I love the show, I completely understand that not all solutions work with all cats. I read somewhere a long time ago, that cats, including the big cats, dont naturally poop in the same place they pee. Its something that cats ended up doing in captivity. You might try having 2 boxes to see if maybe this instinct is is more primitive? My silly girl has outgrown her box and she is an enthusiastic litter digger. She gets the litter all across the bathroom floor. I need to find her a jumbo box with a low entrance and high back area to see if that helps. She get so crazy when she poops trying so hard to cover it up and get rid of the smell , that she will grab the bath mat or anything else in her grasp to throw in the box to cover it up.

Speaking of cats and behaviour, when did it become common practice for Vets to mutilize cats feet with the standard/ current declawing method? Decades ago, my Grandmother had a couple cats declawed and I remember clearly the office had a chart that showed in great detail how they did it. Basically they would take each toe and extend the claw, make an incision and remove the nail and NO BONE. THey would tell you that there was a small chance the nail might grow back.
My Uncle that is a surgeon himself took a pair of his new rescues to get declawed because they have expensive furniture and small little toddlers. He had take all his other cats and never had an issue. He went to a new Vet as he moved to another state and was in shock and horror when he picked them up and they were in pain and bleeding. He went back right away and asked what the hell? They explained their method and my Uncle demanded to see the insruments and was horrified. Its basically a like those cigar guillotines.
I guess now they chop off the toes at the knuckle rather than actually do surgery. I was in horror myself. When did Vets take the lazy and butcher method instead of the humane way?
PS, Now I understand the controversy and banning of cats being declawed. THis is just horrible.

I've always had two boxes, one for each cat and keep them clean.
I suppose I should feel blessed that he doesn't do it vice versa. Lucky me.
Yah. lol, poop, at least is not so hard to pick up...... Yeah, the way most people keep their cats litter box makes me so annoyed. Would they like to have to step on their own mess every time they had to "go"
