Guys I just did a coil still messing around with it and did three wraps, two coils visible on one side and three on the other. I think I just found my sweet spot. Im running it like that on my silver bullet and my own made mod. Just throwing it out there if someone wants to give it a try. I'm using 32 ga kanthal.
What voltage u running this at? I did 3 wraps at 5 volts and burnt juice. GARF! So I went back to 4 wraps. 5 wraps and it took too long to heat coil. Just my 2 cents.

I'm under the influence that #300 is better as it have bigger gaps and therefore more liquid holds on.
Something like those donuts principle...

Well I got 4 diff sheets from the mesh co. - don't know what the other one's are - I e-mailed them and never got a response. Going to try the two on the bottom that I know are not 400 as they are not as fine. I am using the Line @ 6V until I get my newest order of three diff wires. One way or the other - I will get 1.3 - 1.5 ohms.

I got 2 diff types of sheets from them too - the ones not #400 are #325 in my understanding. They should work well, however. I've not tried them yet, still on the #400, but from other threads they say the #325 works good for wicking.
Please keep us posted on how they work, OK?

@ zuT thats good to know my friend

@dspin what gauge wires you getting?

The Kanthal A1 32 gauge I have now is metering 14.4 ohms a foot

"the ones I am getting are

Doesnt Nicrome have a lower resistance than kanthal for the same gauge ?

Yes it does, the Kanthal I have should have been around 13 ohms a foot. Getting these others I should be good to go. If not, I'll stay at 6V. Going to be trying my other mesh which everyone says should be the 325 - Lorderos says the 325 should provide a better throat hit and I'm all for that.

If all else fails, I will just use a bit higher ohm's like 1.9 and await Imeo's VV - crank it up.

I just want to get away from stacking batts the way I do now and go back to 18650 IMR's

I see there is two threads for Gen Line and this one seems to be the one that those who have them are posting.

I have done a few wraps and the first was easy and the best so far.
It seems to me the trick is getting them neatly wrapped and clean so that no wire touches the bottom plate of the coil area. Because it is a small atty, it is very tricky getting clean wrap to the silver posts.
I think i have to find some very strong reading glasses to get it done nicely.
