Olde Towne Tavern And Grille

The Olde Town Tavern and Grill in Lawrenceville was were the last ATL vape meet was held. They were very welcoming, gave us an entire room to ourselves, and had great food and service. Something to consider.

That looks nice!

Mom and pop said they could toss some samples our way, I can talk to Todd at Vaperite and see if he could talk to awesome vapor.

Wow, I just found this thread and this sounds like a great idea. Count me in. I live near Buford. Just to throw it out there, there's an Old Town Tavern in Suwanee too. I don't know if it would be as accommodating as the one in Lawrenceville was for the other meet, but it might be closer to all the NW ATL folks. It'd definitely be closer to me at least, but I'm not biased at all, of course. Either way, let me know when and where it is and I'll be glad to go. This should be cool, I've hardly met any local vapors.

Added Sidelines Marietta to the potential locations for GA ECF Gathering Map.

Edit: I also called Taco Mac at Perimeter today. They do not allow vaping or smoking...even on their patio! Dang. Not sure if this is an across the board policy for all locations but the manager at Perimeter gave me a flat out no.

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games - Special Events

This is another idea, if we end up with a decent sized crowd. Known for their go-carts, they also have conference rooms and an indoor grill (Food's like a Friday's or something. Not top of the line, but could serve everyone there MENU). Then, there is a bar, an arcade, and, of course, the go-carts. However, it's perfectly feasible as just a place to hang out without go-carting, so that part would be entirely optional. I'd also be willing to bet that their conference rooms aren't a hot commodity on weekends, and would be a good place for meet & greet, show off your mods, etc. and if we get any vendors present plenty of room to set up an area.

I would love to come too! I have another friend that probably would be interested as long as the venue is wheelchair accessible. We went to the get together in Lawrenceville & some very nice men actually carried her in her wheelchair up the stairs. I live in Lawrenceville & she lives in Chamblee.

How I see it:
As they approach the first turn, Alpharetta on the rail is ahead of Lawrenceville by one length; coming up on the outside, Marietta and Gray challenge the leaders nose to nose. As they enter the back stretch, it's Alpharetta in the lead, as the field moves into place for a run down the back stretch. Anything can happen at this point, and the field is just beginning to pickup the pace.....(to be continued)

LoL. I remember that. Was actually a lot easier than I thought.

The first ATL vape meet I went to was at Manuel's, and it was a cool place, but the Eagle's Nest room that we used was pretty crowded. The room at Olde Towne was nice and spacious. I'd be more than happy to handle Vendor relations for it. I know a lot of them. There's a chance I might even be able to get Brandon from Evolv to send a Kick prototype to test out, and I could probably get some of the other vendors to donate door and raffle prizes. Usually we do a raffle to raise money for CASAA.

BTW, did anyone know that our beloved (occasionally) Admin, AngusATAT, is an ATL local? Dunno if he'd be able to make it, though. He told me that his new job has him traveling a lot.

Just a couple quick notes - I am going to throw in the idea that this should probably be an 18 and older only event. Not trying to impose rules or anything but I have two kids and just wanted to get others thoughts on this? Let's keep it fun but I am personally gonna leave my rugrats at home with a babysitter. This may be a nice break for any of you moms and dads.

Another note is I have not verified vaping tolerance at any of these spots on the map. I am fairly certain that Manuel's and Old Towne allow it. I did call Taco Mac and they said sorry, no vaping so I left them off the map. I will call all of these places this week and confirm unless others have already.

Folks, this is gonna be fun!

Manuel's is a smoking establishment, so Vaping is not a problem there. Olde Towne welcomed us with open arms, and I think we managed to convert at least one waitress. Vaping Ok there as well. No clue about Andrettis.

Definitely on the 18+. This is a party for adults.
