Friday the 13th, Saturday the 14th, or the afternoon of Sunday the 15th are currently available for me. Y'all pick the time that works best and I'll be there. (Already got my list of stuff to discuss.)

As for meeting at OTG, I've called a number of times to see if they allow vaping in the public areas, and have left messages for Manager Frankie to call me back a number of times. So far, no messages on my machine, and no word on what they allow.

s3anvap3s, since this is an old hangout of yours, have you seen any vapers at OTG??

I believe there are a couple of Sports Bars in Lawrenceville we can go to, if OTG doesn't accommodate vaping for the 'planning session'. I can make some calls, at least.

I have stealth vaped there not making a big deal about it. One of the cute girls (just about all the girls that work there are hotties BTW) asked me about it. Having said that, one vaper in stealth mode is definitely different than a table full of folks openly vaping.

PS: What happened to Chaos?

He's currently off the forum (temporary I hope), but according to email received from ECF and Chaos, they are attempting to resolve whatever issue has come up.

As for the January 14 'planning meet', Chaos might not be available, and Chatter97 won't be available as long as the Falcons are winning.

Even so, I'm thinking it would be good to get a few details ironed out, and consider a few extra options...and we should probably do it ASAP. If necessary, we can stay in touch with Chaos and Chatter by cell phone (or email) for input during the 'decision making'.

According to what I'm seeing (and hearing through PMs), the following 6 folks are probably available for Saturday, January 14 @ 2:00pm:

Sounds like a good place, but it's about 10.5 miles away from OTG.

Since one of the things we want to do is check out the reserved facilities at OTG, I'm hoping they will accommodate us somewhere in the public area for our 'planning meet'. If not, my preference would be to find someplace nearby...but I'm flexible. PLUS...we'll have to find 'that nearby place' in advance.

One of the main reasons for a follow-up planning meeting was for the committee to see the facilities we are having the meet at first-hand before the meet, wasn't it? So another location would be counter-productive? Just my thoughts.

I will call Frankie at OTG on Monday and double check some of these details. I spoke with him last time and Chaos also spoke with him when he made the reservations. Maybe they can put us over in a corner downstairs or they may even let us hang out in the room we have reserved if there is not an event happening on the 14th?

I am flexible with this next planning meeting. Worst case scenario - we check out the space at OTG and then head down the street to another place that will allow us to vape so we can do some e-juice tasting...I mean planning.

This latest acquisition now belongs to my neighbor that I've recently gotten into vaping:

I think I'm gonna have to go with the Provari after getting my hands on this. The craftsmanship is lacking; functionality is there, I just feel like its going to break at any given moment. IMHO.

Not for me. Since OTG has hosted Vape Meets a number of times in the past, I trust that the facilities will be better than fine.

MY main reason for wanting us to 'meet' is to FINISH 'the planning' while we still have time for interesting options...or to simply put those options to rest. Although I would like to see the facilities at OTG, anyplace works for me.

I called a number of times before Christmas and was unable to reach Frankie. Left my number repeatedly for a call back, and have never heard from him. I've also called during the week after Christmas, with the same ZERO response.

I've also left the message, "When our Atlanta Vape Committee comes to check out the reserved room, is there a place we can meet and vape within OTG?" No response.

Sammy43, please post back as to whether you (or someone) is able to reach the manager by phone tomorrow. If not, a personal 'drop in' might be in order. I've got some time this week, but my schedule is already filling up for the rest of the month. The sooner the better...

I called OTG today and Frankie was not there. Day off. I did ask about vaping in the restaurant and the lady I spoke to wasn't sure if it was allowed or not or if the room was going to be available for us to peak at this weekend. She thought it might be booked but needs to confirm with Frankie. I left a message for Frankie to call me when he gets back in tomorrow.

Hopefully I will have more info tomorrow from Frankie and will post an update as soon as I find out some details.
