I'm sorry that you're having to experience such ignorant behaviour.

For me it's the opposite, people smell the clouds and come and ask me questions, after which they ask whether I'll mind if they tried it.

I dont like strangers lips on my tanks -__-

Bring some extra cheapo plastic drip tips :p

Yes, but here is the problem with that; Firstly, it's not always easy to be sure if vaping is, in fact, allowed, and secondly we are often times being bothered, harassed, abused (whatever term you want to use), where it is permitted.
Maybe we need to come up with inviso-clouds...we can call it "The Emporors new Clouds"!!!

The simple way to approach it if unsure is to ask if its ok to vape, some places will say sure. I know many places that don't mind. To your other point I can't recall a time I've ever been confronted directly when smoking or vaping. Maybe a I don't approve look but never being harrassed. I smoke in public places all the time not indoors of course but no one has ever confronted me about it and same goes for vaping I've never heard a word from anyone.

Now I'm not standing in front of a building blowing it on everyone either, that's just rude and obnoxious. When I smoke or vape I don't do it with a in your face attitude. I do my thing and no one brothers me. Its really about having tact and respect for others around me.

Buying tickets to Prague now, lol

July is a great time to go, It is crowded, but loads of tourists add character. Christmastime is really special, as well. Christmas markets at the squares, the entire city lit up, the smell of roasting ham and mulled wine fills the air...

ECF Prague meetup! Who's with me? :D

There is a big vape club in Prague called the Czech Vaping Association. They schedule river vape and party cruises and pub meets. No cloud chasing, though...

So how do you respond when you are in the middle of an empty parking lot, in a place where vaping is allowed, and someone feels the need to come outside to give you a hard time about it? That's what happened to me. I wasn't imposing on him with my vaping. No, he wanted to "save me" from vaping with a bunch of Antz talking points from all the well known false studies :glare:

I would respond the same way I did when I was in Walmart one year and a religious nut followed me around then cornered me and told me I was teaching my children Santanism and introduing them to the devil because I was buying then Harry Potter costumes. I told her that she has no right to corner me an to go BLEEP herself.

I'd probably tell them to mind their own business if they were to persist I'm sure I would be a bit harsher, lol. But I've never been confronted like that from what I see most people don't care. The worst I've ever seen was someone give me that look or a fake cough and I just ignore them.

I was at my favorite restaurant in Prague once, sitting alone, plotting the night's conquests...It was at an odd time in the afternoon so wasn't busy. I was vaping away while drinking an Americano coffee, while looking at the menu, when an English gentleman approaches me and says we are in the non smoking section. I showed him my ProVari, which doesn't resemble a cigarette, and he flags down a waiter, who told him electronic cigarettes are allowed. The waiter, who I happen to know, apologized to me for the trouble and the angry English gentleman went back to his table. What gets me is tourists who try to impose their 'values' on others, in a country where vaping is welcomed...

I am re-posting this from what I wrote in another thread here. It's my wife that's on my .... now ...
________________________________

A year ago my wife got on my case so much for smoking, I decided to quit and replace the cigarettes with vaping. This was also done for my own health reasons too.

Everything was doing just fine for the last year. In fact, my wife didn't even get upset with me vaping in the house.

Well, about a week ago, my wife visits her doctor and mentioned that I vape .... The doctor tells my wife what a horrible habit vaping is and that the second-hand nicotine could have health issues with my wife.

Now, everything has changed ... My wife is on my .... again, just like she used to be when I was smoking cigarettes ... I try to explain to her that vaping is much safer than smoking, but she says that I am in denial.

At this point in time, I am just fed-up with the whole thing!

Mine gave me grief about it for the first time today as we were going someplace in her car.
The butter pecan juice I was vaping tickled her throat and made her cough.
I gently reminded her it was she who bought me my first kit and told her to hold her breath until we got home... ;-)

...Take my wife, please.
