It may help very much to get a counter for your signature, like some of the folks on this thread have.
When you set yours up, cut and paste the url into a wordpad doc also. Then you can copy and paste the url into your browser if you're not on the forum - hit it five or six times a day if you have to, to encourage yourself.
There were times it made a real difference to see in black and white exactly how many cigarettes not smoked and how many days or even hours had passed.
