I agree. While I see why side holes are better in general, for nostalgic purposes the 3 bottom holes and the grooves (instead of knurling) in the locking ring are iconic for this picture/version. This picture has been one of my favorite GG pictures for years and I would love to own one. However if you remove those 2 key look points I can make a similar setup already but isn't quite the same.

Also as for the safety of the hole placement I think many would feel the battery heating before they put it close to their face.

As for the fuse/spring I am with you D. I missed out on the all brass fuse kit so I use a refulat brass post with no spring. I am careful to test my coils before first time use. And if I feel the mod heating up I check everything out before continuing to vape.

YES - and here is a closer picture of the ORIGINAL big brass button. The head is thicker too along with a bigger contact point. Just a joy to own. Adjustable too.

See how thick the head is - awesome - and deep grooves in the rings too This to my opinion is the finest GG button Imeo ever made.

Couldn't agree more D. Absolutely the best looking button:thumbs:

front holes doesnt save you from battery explotion Dspin. Do you remember when a person broke his jaw and e-cig went to his throat? Front hole e-cigs must be back off the market
I agree fright, Vent holes - no matter where they are will save you from a battery that goes into true thermal runaway. Best thing then is to throw it as far as you can. Its a matter of a few seconds as the tube heats up.

So to my opinon - the bottom vent holes as pictured would be fine with me. Just my 2 cents

On another note - I dont even use a fuse upgrade anymore - just bare post. Dont like the SS screw in the fuse.

you are talking about an e-cig that is a direct copy bf. If you were talking about another e-cig then I would reconsider my answer.
All these telescopic e-cigs out there are GG telescopic copies because telescope is made in the exactly same way.

Because something became a common thing that doesnt mean that its not a copy any more:)

im trusting your judgement imeo, but shouldnt the electric angel be considered its own device instead of a copy? the only thing the two share is that they are telescoping and they have a high price tag. if you were to consider every telescoping mod a knockoff you would have quite a long list lol.

but they are even pairing it off with an original design carto tank on their site, the finish is completely different, and they dont even use springs, just direct contact? i seriously believe these people made an original high quality telescoping device and are selling it as such. it may not be as high quality as a gg, but they arent pretending it is one. all of the other replicas are using the same chrome/brass color scheme, and usually calling it a gg. this is a much more satin finish, and the name in no way would make people even think its a gg. i think this is like calling a vamo a provari knock off. while they both go from 3-6v, it is quite obvious that the provari is built better, and they look nothing alike. while both the EA and GG telescope, the GG is obviously better. that doesnt mean it isnt original, just aimed at a different customer base

On another note - I dont even use a fuse upgrade anymore - just bare post. Dont like the SS screw in the fuse.

I wasn't using the fuse upgrade I bought for my GGTS some time ago because the same, I bought a brass axis so I could convert it to a fuse kit, I thought the fuse kit screw was SS, but one day I was sanding it a little and I discovered that it was nickel plated brass, added one of the new brass fuse kit springs but it didn't worked that good (I was testing it with the Kick), then I added a second brass spring and now it works very good.

The only thing I do not like about the fuse kit is that the screw's head has a small "diameter", tends to mark the negative pole of the batteries, maybe a little bigger diameter would be good.

Another easy but, I think, useful upgrade (for the brave of heart), would be a brass screw with bigger diameter head (bigger than the axis post), so you could use your GGTS without battery spring without worrying about damaging the battery negative pole.

In my personal opinion EA Mode is a bad direct copy of a GGTS, all the parts, design and functionality itself was an Imeo's invention:

Main tube.
Button.
Bottom cap.
Axis post.
Telescope.
Top tube.
Top cap (Stealth)
Ajustable center pin.

It costs €149.00, for that money you can get a GG Stealth (€102.00) + GGTS Telescope tube (€18.00) + GGTS Extension Sleeve (€15.00) = €135.00 With lifetime warranty, original product, better quality.

Only the finish or because they dont use a spring on its axis that doesnt make it another mod bf:).

ps..... GGTS can be used without a spring too, so these people decided to make a GG copy without a spring, something really dangerous for customers.

The reason that I made the fuse bolt in that diameter is because GGTS accepts all batteries, even the thin AAA ones and these batteries require a small post buddy:)

Since the GGTS is a mechanical mod and it is not polarized it will work what ever way the battery is installed. Put your battery in upside down, positive to the axis, negative to the center pin, which has a larger head on it than the axis does, it would be kinder to your batteries.

Okay Imeo, I get why you can't sell a MOD w/bottom holes. It would launch, like a rocket, straight in the direction opposite of the holes. That's why you now designed it w/hole on the side of the bottom cap n all the way around it.

BUT, could you make the above EXACTLY, except use your side vent holes. Then, offer the above pictured bottom cap for sale to those who bought the above device? Could market it as: "Sold to be used as a display piece only. Do not install or use w/a battery." Bam! You're covered insurance wise. What people do w/it after that is out of your control. Besides, all of us would just install it once in a while for photos, etc. None of us would use the device w/that bottom cap on it. None of us.

Both tubes in the pic are made of aluminum. The button is a classic and has not been produced for a long time

I did make one that is similar to the above pic. I have all the brass and ss necessary - IT IS NOT THE SAME.

Also - it MUST have the classic GG engraving like shown - no changes like I just saw in the GG picture thread. Ay yi yi
