Unfortunately Ody had no wings on it so people can easily think its a genique. Also others will sell it as genique, you are right River!

Most of the china copies of ANYTHING, (ody, cobra, etc) are plated. And the wicks make contact with the various metals. That latest "ts" is plated. And people admit so. That's why it's so cheap. It's a knockoff, a copy, a bad copy, and cheap materials. This is how they make the prices. There are no laws and enforcement on truths as false advertising for overseas products.

And they have the nerve to use GG and Odysseus in the same description? Bull .....

I wonder if these will start to show up on the classifieds at genuine Ody prices by people who bought them second hand from someone with no scruples and got duped into thinking they were buying the real deal.

no question mouse. it is bound to happen. And if those people have never owned a genuine GG product, they probably won't know any better, even when they have it in their hands.

The Did and Cobra clone are made of chrome plated copper, worst s**t money can buy. I've read on other forums from people who actually bought that Ody clone that is actually made of SS. This doesn't change the fact that it is a clone, a copy, an imitation of nevertheless the Ody V1.
In the meantime we GG lovers had the Ody V2 and very soon the Ithaka.

There is a shop that seems to have specialized on selling GG clones. The interesting thing is that this shop qualifies for layer actions as all pictures look like the original ody but most important - the third picture shows the Ody Full Mode with GGTS base...

I cant do anything river. The only that can be done is to put GG wings to all my next GG constructions. Then these people cant fool anyone. They can still make their direct copies but everyone will be able to know that he is buying the fake instead of the original.
Also none knows what materials they put in there. Its the same thing like brass. China sells always zama, that is like brass (it looks like brass but it isnt) and it s very very cheap material.

What you said has already be done from many GG users to adam mod. The best part was when this guy was trying to defend himself.
He was trying to convince people that were crazy and what they were seing was not a GG copy but a totally different mod, while the most simple would be to respect people and say that it was a GG imitation.
