Rejoice, its better to kill myself awake and not kill him with sleep (sleep is like death)!!!

So the biggest AA out there is a 900mah one, so you are right. But your satisfaction will reduse. You dont want to have 100 mah more and less throat kick and smoke. My cr2 are 800 and the bigest AA is 900. No big diference. If it was 1000 mah then ok its a diference.

I think that I have found a 1000mah cr2. I will check again and if this is right, the GG will come with these batteries as an option. So you will have 1000mah, 6 volt, delicious ;)

It shouldn't last longer. Two batteries with the same mAh rating connected in series (as the CR2s are in the GG) should have the same lifetime as one of those batteries on it's own, so if the CR2s and the AA have the same mAh rating they'll last the same time.
You've just got double the voltage and hence 4 times the power (current = voltage / resistance, power = current2 * resistance) with the CR2s.

Interesting the new 1000mah batteries. Let us know if this is possible
Would like a little more time on the batteries. Maybe I use it too much!
I am getting around 3 hours. Sometimes more on the batteries. I really like the vape on fully charged batteries.:D

1000 mah are +25% more time, so its not bad at all. I check these batteries and I saw that are 1000 mah at 3volt:D

So the option exists, but I saw that they are out of stock for now.

Thats right badseed

Guys all the buttons soon or later are fail. So its time to think serious for an imortal one. I have made one of them 1 month ago but it was too heavy and I stop thinking of it but now it time again

So far I have used the GG for 6 hours and I can't put it down. I am seeing more vapor from the 901 atomizer then from my pen801 atomizer. I also notice the switch is sturdy, It should last for a long time.
You are correct about the button placement, after a little time it becomes very comfortable and natural to use.

I like it,...I like it a lot. Thank you my Greek friend, Thank you very much for all of your work.

I will say a little thanks, I cant say something else Vince, you are a very kind man.

I will post a video now only for education purposes.

The GG has a bolt to its back cup. I found a way to extend the spring for the AA option without touching it or make it bigger because you cant make it small again if you want to return to cr2 option.
You will see to the video that there is a bolt that I screw it to an adaptor. If we suppose that the bolt is the GG's bolt, then if you screw it to the adaptor, the adaptor goes up and down so the whole system gets bigger or smaller without touching the spring. I put the video only because I thought it. In the reality the best way is to make the AA battery longer with a strong magnet. This will be the final option because the adaptor is nice but maybe some people confused with all this mechanic stuff and they will return me the GG back without a real reason.

Soon, Smokindeuse will have the magnets for that option

One thing I want to add for all the other beta testers (like me) who may have been having issues with battery life or inconsistent atomisers:

I have had a few teething problems with the Beta model which although IMEO has resolved with all the latest batch is an interesting point to note all the same and definitely a very good reason to part company from your GG so IMEO can service it with the new spring system.

So the story is - I get unbelievably massive hits from the word go (fully charged 2x 3.32V), until either I get to the 3V level, or I open the chamber and screw the compartment back down again. Now this is where the problem started for me:

So I take the batteries out, check the voltage - both around 3V - so plenty of runtime left then I put them back in and bang - nothing!?

So I do another volt reading, and both batteries have suddenly dropped to around 2V each (!!!) where at this point they stop functioning. Now what is causing this in the beta models with the 'old style' spring is that the spring is so sharp and strong that it actually scratches the battery surface whereby causing this sudden drop in voltage.

This will eventually lead to your batteries being unusable and your atomiser short circuiting so it is of the utmost importance that you send it back to IMEO for a service for the new system as he has already mentioned before.

Now I'm very reluctant to post mine back as I'm sure the other Beta testers are too, but to avoid future problems please take heed of this advice! ;)

Over and Out :)

Yes, an extension will work for using 1 x AA 3.7v, but like you say, it will be very simple with a magnet and for anybody to do it. And a magnet would only be about 4mm thick I think. Easy.

Now that I have the GG I know I will never send it back.:D

But this is just me, please do as Thanasis says and get the new type connector. I am a machinist and can fix mine easily.

I have been thinking about the magnetic spacer for using the AA 3.7v battery. If the GG were dropped hard the magnet could move to the side and touch the case and drain the battery. Maybe a coating of something on the edge of the magnet or a recess in the middle (or a raised step) so the spring holds it in place would fix this?

Good point Vince, although the magnets we have on order are only about half the diameter of the battery (8mm) and they stick very tight indeed, so I shouldn't think this would be problem.

I will carry out tests to ensure they are safe and if not both those ideas of yours sound sure winners - certainly some coating around the edges should be very easy to instigate. :)

I can't wait for mine. Should ship out on the 30th I hope. Hefty price tag thanks to the crapy USD falling, but it would seem to be worth every penny.

Was wondering if the CR2 batts that come with it are protected or not?

Great idea about the magnet spacer. Alot simpler than changing springs. Though I can't see changing to the AA. Mabey in case of an emergency when out and about. Better to buy on batt instead of two at the store. They are much more expensive.

Vince I was thinking this too about the moving of magnets and I told it to Smokindeuse with a pm. I believe that as Smokindeuse told me in a pm, these magnets are so strong that they stick like a glue to the batteries. But your idea is very very good because we were thinking the same. If they move, then I will cover them with a material that when you warm it, it will go round to the magnet like a glue. You know this stuff but I cant say it in english:):)

Anyway, there is the option for the adaptor witch extends the spring, so we have many options here, we will choose the best;):D:)

If you have any other ideas please tell me friend:)

Kos, they are protected friend. I saw 880 mah instead of 800 but not protected so I did not put them on GG. YOU LOVE YOUR HOUSES, YOU DONT WANT TO SEE THEM BURNED!!!

Yes I too love my house :D

What batts are you using? Ultrafire 3V CR2 800mAh Green 2 Packs from Deal Extreame. If so I can't find where they are protected. Alot of reviews said they were not, just have better thermal propertys than 3.7 V. Not shure if this was what you went with or not. I know you did extensive research on chosing the parts so you might have more detail than I can find at the moment. If you could go into more detail that would be apreaciated. Also haven't been able to find a 880mha in a rechargable. Just a primary.

DealExtreme: $3.82 Rechargeable 3V CR2 800mAh Green 2 Packs

look the battery icon with the warnings and look what it is writing for the charge and the discharge. Also go to the first question for the batteries (down to the page) and you will see the answer:)

As for the 880 rechargeable unprotected, maybe they are removed, I can find them either, I will check again

I checked and I dont find the primary. Give me the link please:)
