Hello, so Ive been using smok gpriv and smok big baby beast tank coils, and I changed the coil, since I overburned my last one acidently without any e liquid in it, and today Ive been smoking whole day fine, and suddenly, while smoking it, I heard a wierd crack sound, looked at my tank and the glass is cracked, a big crack, and I am not smoking from it anymore, but did I just evade explo in ma face? or its just common facts, like I tightened tank too much etc, should I be consurned, or does this type of thing happen sometimes? And yestirday when i was charging Ive heard weard buzzing noise commin out of the GPRiv, when I unplug its fine, using provided cable.

Common stuff like you overtghtened or had something weird with a o ring happened. Did you use the correct size glass for the RBA? You need to use the slightly longer glass with the RBA, otherwise it will leak or if you try to tighten down the shorter glass to make up for the gap so it doesn't leak and it'll break. Or, it was just a defective piece of glass that may have been knocked around and you didn't realize it.
nah, the glass was fine, wasnt using the RBA at that moment since I broke mine hahaha if u remember the "Did I do it right" story hahaha, feewww good to know now, thought I avoided geting punched in the face, I did feel like I screwed it too tight! Like I remember excacly that I screwed it Really, really tight.
I'd say it's a sweet juice that cracked it but that's usually plastic tanks.
This never happened to my g priv, the buzzing sound is worrying. Can you take it to the shop you got it from??

yeh Ill get it checked tomorrow, tho I did read on the forums its the amplifier whos making the sound, tho they said they swaped cables and it disappeared, wasnt the case for me, Im going to pick up a battery charger tommorow, since it is recomended to do that. Best of luck to you, I sadly sold my g priv when I was low on money & he won't sell it me back but I'd definitely get another!
So yeah... take it to the shop, my charger makes a buzzing sound which is normal & the g priv can make a slight sound but get it checked to be safe

And thanks, hopefully it works out great for both of us haha. Oh, forgot about the buzzing. I'm not sure the G Priv is set up to allow passthough vaping while charging. Generally vaping while charging is frowned upon, and even then only with mods reported by the manufacturer as allowing passthrough charging. The buzzing may be user error in charging and vaping at the same time. If you only have the G Priv to vape on, buy extra sets of batteries, an external charger, and simply swap in a fully charged set when needed rather than do the passthrough thing.

Juice wont crack glass.
Period.
The OP probably tightened the atty too tight and put tension on the glass and it eventually cracked.
So why bother confusing the situation with an impossible scenario that has nothing to do with the OP?
I added clarity and facts, and gave a pretty good suggestion as to why the OPs glass tank cracked.
It sounds like you may have tightened your glass too snug and the expansion of the glass from the heat from your coil probably caused the crack. I wouldnt say you were in any immediate danger.

Yes, you tightened the tank cap down too tight OP, and then when it got hot it wanted to expand as things do when they get hot, but with no room whatsoever to expand, it cracked. With mods and tanks and everything vaping related, snug is best, never tight, and certainly not tight-tight. Most of the best lessons in life cost money, this was a cheap lesson. :?)

Actually, you did imply that it was the e-liquid that cracked the glass.
Tank crackers can't affect glass.
In the OP's case, the likely cause was over tightening the cap.
Heat from a coil wont crack the glass.
Borosilicate glass is specifically designed to resist thermal shock.
Think old school cooking pyrex, or lab beaker.
However if the metal expanded and it was already clamped tight against the glass, causing tension, that could be the culprit.
