Stopped at Arch City Vapors in Hannibal, MO. We stopped there in the morning after our night in the ER so, while waiting, I had taken the time to read up on them a bit.

It's interesting... their website made them sound like they had gone out of business 2 years ago... no new product listed AT ALL. Kanger Genitanks (which autocorrect tried to convert to genitals lol) and eGos and EVODs were the going items.

Then I found them on Facebook... cloud comps and new arrivals made them look as good as any shop I'd visited. Bonus, they were right next door to the pharmacy where we needed to pick up The Wife's scrip.

It's a loooong narrow store. On one side is the display case, on the other is a chalkboard with all the flavors listed. The bottom of the chalkboard, where the chalk would have been kept, is a long row of Innokin iSub tanks all with numbers on them corresponding to the numbers on the chalkboard. Genius... imagine not sampling flavors in a dinky clearo. Instead of tip covers, there was a bin of fresh drip tips and a bin for used tips. I can only assume they get sanitized daily.

While they did not have the repair kit for the kayfun, the proprietor was VERY helpful and tried to locate the damaged piece in her repair bin.

She did get kinda nervous and defensive when I took a pic of the shop, though...

Did you tell her she was going to get a free advertisement from that pic? Should have made her happy then.

Howdy tree friends, I hope your day is going smooth.

I've been enjoying your B&M adventures Shawn, it's cool seeing your perspective of all the shops you've visited recently. You have plans to visit shops in AR once you cross the border? I remember you saying something about stopping in one in Mountain Home, IIRC.

Also that poor lady looks like a deer in headlights. :D

2. Just got good news regarding my son...he has a reprieve until November, so we'll have more time with him. Finally I can relax for a while and hopefully my stomach won't be all in knots anymore! He definitely has an angel watching over him! :)

Robin, my vape swag was delivered yesterday...I went by the house this morning and there it was waiting on me...I love the stickers...Thank you! :D

Uncle, you are right...it was so "NOT NICE" last night...I have had acid reflux before and I hate it when it happens...it was my own stupid fault last night though...we had chili for dinner and stupid me forgot to take my medicine afterwards...that darn "big" drink made me forget! :p...And I certainly paid for it!

Thanks.

Yeah, I wanted to stop - there are two in Mountain Home (one in Batesville, but that's another story), but, alas, time was not on our side.

That said, the two in Mountain Home have been visited by your's truly more than once.

American Vapez, aside from the use of the letter z in place of an s, is quite nice. Small e-liquid selection as they prefer to sell their house brand which IS nicely done. Decent selection of mods, RDAs, clearos, RTAs, etc. Decent prices, too. This is my goto in the north.

The other shop, called Vaper's Win, is smallish, and, honestly, a little squalid. Between the proprietor's family coming in to bring him dinner - which meant the entire family (wife and 2 young IIRC) came in and sat down and started to eat in the lounge. Well, the wife was eating. The 2 young were running around bouncing off of walls. No real juice selection here, and the house e-liquid was... eh, I don't know if I trust it. A lot of his inventory was oldish, too.

Teaspoon baking soda in 8 ounces water.... mix and drink... belch... reflux gone. I can relate... I've had reflux that has nearly landed me in the morgue.

Oh I can so relate - had just Acid Reflux for a number of years - then it turned to GERD . . . AND NOW - Well I don't wish what I experience on anyone - even "My" worst enemy . . . Matter of fact, I no longer eat anything like chili, nor do I drink any alcohol at all. . . To be honest, I had stopped drinking alcoholic drinks when I became a Diabetic, except for a sip of wine every now and then - until I got hit with this diagnoses . . . As for medications, well since I finally was able to get "Nexium" again in the beginning of the year (instead of the generics they forced me to take for 4 years) and an occasional Generic 300 mg Zantax - I normally do pretty well, that is if I am very careful about what I eat . . . Absolutely - NO ALCOHOL - Ever; No Hot Spices (Good Bye - Tasty food) , No Fast/Fried Foods; Nothing made with Tomatoes Sauce or Tomato Gravy - nor any Pizza, and the list goes on & On & ON . . . The Doctor even wanted me to no longer drink COFFEE (which I told them it wasn't happening, although I have cut back to only 2-3 "mugs" in the morning) . . . The worse part is, there are 2 different diets I have to follow and it is a trail & error thing to find out what I can actually eat and how much without having an "ATTACK" - which are excruciatingly painful . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Teaspoon baking soda in 8 ounces water.... mix and drink... belch... reflux gone. I can relate... I've had reflux that has nearly landed me in the morgue.

OH - I so wish that would work for "Me" . . . Besides the prescription Nexium and the Generic 300 mg Zantax I take, when I have an "Attack" I have to use at least 8-12 Ultra Strength 1000 Tums, 1-2 Ultra Strength 180 mg Gas Relief (CVS generic - GasX), and drink 1-2 Bottles of 2 Litter Ginger Ale, while having an Ice Pack strapped to "My" Chest and another Iced Gel Pack wrapped around "My" head - all while sitting up in Bed - trying to belch/go to the bathroom - then just waiting for pure exhaustion to hit . . . NOT NICE ! ! ! :(

BTW: Not to say that "You" didn't experience something bad for "You" - however if Ya' ever had an "Attack" like ones I get sometimes - Ya' might wish "You" were anywhere else - even in a hospital . . If - Only to relieve the pain for a little while . . . Just Sayin' . . . :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:

In Rolla, MO, there are at least 3 vape shops. How did they rate 3 and I don't even have one?

Village Vapors is the quaint (and honest) little shop I wrote about on the way up. They're the folks that refunded the $ on the Kayfun Light.
Village Vapors.JPG

Kaleidosmok Vapers HQ is on the main drag (as opposed to the old downtown), and had a better selection of merchandise including a nice sale on RDAs and Mechs. They also had a nice selection of e-liquids. I did buy a bottle of e-liquid because it had a cool bottle, and a great little red anodized two part airflow adjustable drip tip that looks great on my Kanger Subtank Mini on my red DNA 40. They were mostly helpful, but still had nothing Kayfun related. The only problem with this shop is its signage... the sign up high is so weathered and worn... I almost missed it... would have if The Wife hadn't seen the sign in the window.

The third shop looked really really really nice from the signage and a nice layout inside and was closed... on Monday... so, no visit there.

@Shawn Hoefer , have you heard anything about the Arkansas Act 1235 that just went into effect? It's a little unclear in the wording but on another forum a bunch of people are freaking out that they wont be able to buy juice online anymore. I'm not sure how it affects mods/supplies either.

I'm stressing out, I just now heard about this a few minutes ago, not sure what to think of it just yet need to read into it more. I'm just wondering if you knew anything.

There was a bill introduced earlier this year that got stalled in committee that would have caused some issues with buying e-liquids from out-of-state at local B&M. However, I have not heard anything since then regarding that. Can you PM me a link? I did check on CASAA and License to Vape and they did not mention anything.

Meanwhile, I just wrote a blog post... check it out (or PM me for a link).

And I stand corrected. Apparently my sources are out of date and SB978 (which was stalled) has passed and been named Arkansas Act 1235.

I think I'll go online and order some e-liquid... Argh!

I'm so worked up I can't see straight. As far as I know starting today I won't be able to get any juice online, perhaps even hardware. I have to go lie down. I can't afford buying from my B&M. $18.99 is their cheapest for a 30ml and that's a local brand. Their hardware markup is too high for me as well, I just can't do it. If I'm never able to try the legendary juices like Placid, Looper, etc. or won't be able to acquire new gear I don't know what I'll do. I haven't wanted a cigarette since I quit but I just feel like breaking things right now.
