Shawn - while not getting more gear is a very commendable goal I'm going with the others on this one.

Long night, just got home. Time to unwind and try to get some sleep, since tomorrow I have to be in by 9am.

Found another old dirt road wandering through the forest. Consulted my USFS maps and discovered it was called "The Old Clackamas Road," which was, apparently, something left over from the wagon train days. Beautiful scenery back there in the boonies. A different view of Mt. Jefferson.
