@ Opinionated Thanks for the good info..I will make a note of it...Things are very slow moving with the VA...by the time they get around to you, the problem has either resolved itself or still there...sounds funny to put it that way

I'm tellin.." Lannie...oh Lannie.."
At the risk of divulging something most Americans don't want aired out, "Most" marriages, sooner or later, will hit major bumps. Some of them can be conquered and some cannot. The major cause of divorce? Marriage. Neither of us will hide the fact that we have both been married twice before (third time's a charm?). Those unions did not survive, but Lannie and I have been together for...um... well, about a thousand years (5,000? OK, at least 17+):) and have not had an argument yet. That's because we are both communicators. Talk it out before either party can get mad about it. (Tigger, that applies to stupid bosses too.) By contrast, my second wife is on her fifth husband and I hear he doesn't spend a lot of time at home these days. Some people should stay single.

076 zoom Mt Henry.jpg

Mt. Henry, on the southern edge of Glacier National Park, Montana. Took a 10-day whirlwind tour to get out of town and visit a few old friends, so left Central Orygun, buzzed through eastern Washington, across the Idaho panhandle, zipped through Montana, then down to Jellystone, Wyoming, back up into Montana, back down to and through Wyoming, through Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, skimmed the northeast edge of California, and back home to Oregon. Puff pant... HEY! There's a dirt road! Let's see where that goes... Had to go back to work just to get some rest.

Now there's a thought! Lots of sheep and sheepherders with shears around these parts..;) ...just kiddin..poor thing would have prob gone into shock ....thus the putting under

I hear nightmare stories about the VA, and I am lucky I went through what I did without all that mess..

I am glad what I said might be a help to you.. VA doctors often don't much know who you are, so its a good thing sometimes to make suggestions and talk to them about your condition as much as possible!

Good luck, and be well! I will keep you in my prayers!

Uncle, if you don't want anyone here, why do you post this contest on the Contest thread every week? :?:

Just a quick pop-in while I get ready to head out to my son's soccer practice. At least it's not as hot today as it was for my daughter's practice last week (and I don't have to do anything for my son's team)!

Welcome to the tree Fam Opinionated (and anyone one else that has entered and I missed)

Uncle - I knows all bout multi-quote - just watching you is a lesson to be valued. It just isn't a good option for holding on to them all day (for me anyway) as I usually try to keep the extra posts to a minimum.

What I learned is:

1) at the end of the day all you can do is all you can do and even though its still not enough, what makes it enough is that it was all you could do;

2) to be true to who you are inside.

3) You cannot make everyone happy, and its not to you to try.. it is to you to find your own happiness

4) be with one who is happy with who you are - not who they want you to be

5) Life is the hardest thing there is, its full of up's and downs - so focus on the up's life throws your way, they will carry you through all the downs

If trees could talk, they would sit and tell us stories of the heartaches and struggles of our forefathers - for all we can see, is their success. But it is true they knew much pain, as well as much joy.

My prayers go out to all those in need of prayers..

Hello and welcome!!!

Lots of things I want to say to all the treefam but I too am having internet issues tonight...something wrong with the bed and breakfasts main so I wanted to get this up while I am connected (phone is currently dead so cant even use it for a little while longer)

@angelphyre once you find that money we are so following where ever you lead (I can cook and am an expert at not telling the kids where the road has taken me hehehe)

@Shawn Hoefer wil miss you when your not around

treefam in pain and sick gets an extra dose of {{hugs}} and healing

@Uncle I wasn't the one who spilled the beans on this wonderful thread but at least the new posters are nice people and not jerks like some Ive heard about today

@tiggerrts I hope today has been better than the ones before

and all treefam I missed please know you are never far from my thoughts and prayers but my connection is down to 'just barely' so I'm off and gone again

While I agree that it is a good thing to make suggestions to ANY doctor, be open, honest, and let them know everything you are feeling or thinking about your condition, I must comment on the V.A. I have heard a lot of bad about them. Back in Portland, OR, I experienced some of this. They had too many patients and no time to devote to anyone. But I have been using Ft. Meade, in Sturgis, SD for over 11 years and everyone has gone out of their way to be of service - the most friendly and helpful doctors and nurses I have seen in my whole life. Obviously, some places don't know you and don't care; others treat me like the family doctor I knew as a kid. Perhaps it is merely a fallout of how big the city is in which the hospital is located.
Wifey and I will have been married 29 yrs later this month, together 31yrs.
Congratulations. Lannie and I have known each other for 34 years, but only tied the knot a shade over 17 years ago. This one will last until one of us croaks.

You are ultimately responsible for your own care. Question, challenge and never forget YOU are in charge.

Said it a million times. There will only ever be one "Mrs". If she doesn't work out, won't be another. Pushing at 18yrs, I think the probation period is over in about another year!

9/2 - 5: So we all are going to the beach with Angel... I can be the cook; I like it. Just treat me right, I would have to get up really early to make breakfast, and stay in charge for lunch. Need a short nap or a :toast: to relax and then make that great dinner. Do not make it a job for me, but let it all be pleasant.:drool::drool::danger:

That is my attitude. My wife and I have been married for 13 years, but we've been together for 19. Yeah, I'd say she's "a keeper!"

9/2 - 6: On the Island of Angel, all the family of the tree came to gather. All loving and enjoying each other, in time like it happens there are some things that do no fly with one party or another. So steps in Uncle waving the :rules:, with deputy Ranger standing in agreement ;). Things settle down, and the family is together again. The next day stirs, it is time for tiggs to fix the breaksfast, up early and getting some coffee. The rest stir and some give a :nun:, all is good on the Island of Angel. What? there is another problem!! Someone has gone out and purchased some more vapemail. Who is the culprit, what did they do? Some are thinking they know who did and :pop:, can it be? It was not me!! Says blue :censored::censored:, no doubt how was she framed? So our minds start to wander.... Is there someone in the island that was not part of the tree fam? :nah: Should we accept them :thumb:; hmm..
The minds of the family start to think together. It was not Shawn , "no he promised" Could it be jpf?:shock: are you insane? Then who could it be? Why is there a camel on the island? Who lives on an island, are they suspect?
:offtopic:
Good night and wait for episode two.:tumble:
