Indeed it is, Fuzzy. If people could not guess, I've been posting pics from where I live (although I did not take the pics) for the past week. In that picture, the ocean is just to the right of the picture, below a 30-foot cliff.That pic must have been on/near a beach where it is windy all the time.
Wildfire smoke really makes for some strange days--the sun light is almost like that of a very dark storm--except that you know the sun is there. Everything gets eerie. During the wild fire of 2003, we had ashes that fell like giant snowflakes (and not a few hot embers that we had to stamp out, despite being almost ten miles from the flames).Here is the red sun today.................
