Me-OW!! well..there ARE dog lovers ..and those that like both here....but..we also have some folks here who are terribly allergic to cats....even pictures of cats .....so..we try to be respecful of "those" folks also ..

Good Morning TreeFam (I know, it is afternoon, but this is my first post here today, so it's still "morning" to me)
And welcome to @KattMamma . Now I have been calling @KatzWh1skers just Katz, so what will we call you for short? Katt is too close a call for my old typing fingers, so you wanna be Momma, or do you want us to use your full name all the time? (I'm just Fuzzy to most of these folks)

Known as Grizzly Amber back then and now Fuzzy Thunderbear, on top of one of those high rocks you've been seeing a lot of here lately, in the Bitterroot (Rockies) Range of Montana. Hiked in there from the bottom of that valley in the background... just out for a weekend stroll.

Love the pix @Fuzzy Thunderbear ! You've been places some of us only hope to go..and as I've aged from my heyday...and my body just doesn't want to cooperate like it used to...I may never get to see places like that in person...so Thank You! That's one of the great things about the internet...being able to share..in the blink of an eye...and thank goodness this thread has an "edit" button..
Here is Spring Break Up in Central Alaska...Can you see why they call it Break Up ??!
After about 8 months of Winter..believe me..Spring is a welcome sight! And Break Up is another one of those harbingers that Spring..and warmth...are finally here...

@KatzWh1skers - My better half lived in Alaska for about 10 years. It sure looks pretty up there, and I'd love to be able for us to be able to get up that way some day

That was pretty much what our pastures and front yard looked like the first few years we lived here (15-foot snow drifts that didn't melt until June). And the land is too flat (at best, low rolling hills) for it to go anywhere but right where it is (well, other than wind drift as it is falling).

Glacier National Park again. Also nasty in winter, but I only go went to high places like this in summer and early fall.

Ok, I think I've got this... (the rulez)

Wait... is 4 really a rule, cuz I may be in trouble...

I'm sorry Uncle is allergic to cats. I am too (for real!) so I only have outside cats now. I love dogs too - I have a mini dachshund sitting beside me right now.

As far as what to call me... anything I guess - I'm kinda used to that. My nickname IRL is Katt, but my husband calls me KattMamma so my friends picked that up, and then came up with their own variations. One calls me Miss Kitty (I think that's from an old western he likes to watch) while some call me Kattatonic, or Kattastrophic. Those are hard to spell tho...

Ok, Mamma works. LOL

Yes, I goofed earlier today. Fortunately, Uncle was watching out for me and helped me out. I normally pay more attention, but I was coffee-less at that time And, I hadn't even started "Mommy Beverages"

I've aged from my heyday...and my body just doesn't want to cooperate like it used to

I hear that one loud and clear... like every morning when Lannie wakes me up and even after a dose of pills it takes me two hours to figure out which end is up so I can go out and help with morning chores. This body is way too ouchy these days to "climb every mountain" like I used to, even though I would still like to try (if there were any mountains in this whole state - do the Black Hills count? Two hours one way...).

More Montana mountains. Some major upthrust at work here...
