Good morning Treefam.........I am up and need coffee......It also stormed some last night....I thought I heard thunder a few times during the night............Waiting on the wind....

8/29 - 1: Good morningnight all, going to start my continuing education for my license that is required. Who else out there has to pay money to get education yearly for their job and pay out to continue working?

Well if paying dues and having to take continuing classes annually is that....then yes I have.......

Well - "MoringNite" - "Tree People" . . .

. . . Start of a NEW DAY . . .

Time for - COFFEE

YES - COFFEE - TIME . . .

WELL - Woke up to the news that "Erika" is now considered only a tropical depression that will be dropping a lot of water (which is really NEEDED) around here starting tomorrow and for the next couple of days . . . Also which means I will be flooded in place . . . AND - OH BOY - Can Ya' Tell Things have changed . . . At 11 AM here - it is already 90* with a feel like of 105*, which I know will get worse throughout the day and stay around until the storm passes . . . SO - ALLS GOOD for Now . . .

AND - On that note: @rangerrobin & @ tiggerrts . . .

THANK YOU - both for even offering to put "Me" up - it means a lot . . .


Now - Moving along . . .

In some of the areas I've lived "We" called them "Lizards" given how in the way they were and how slow they moved . . .

you can really catch some serious air during the storms.

Oh - YEA . . . Been There - Done That Too . . . Thought it would have been FUN - NOPE . . .So - NOT HAPPENING . . .

Who else out there has to pay money to get education yearly for their job and pay out to continue working?

FYI: Most Professionals and especially anyone getting/having State or Federal Licensure has to have so many hours of continuing education either yearly/bi-yearly to prove that they are staying up to date with all the new technology and/or regulations that are specific to their profession - before renewal of their licences which always come with fees . . . BTW: Many companies/employers will pay (or at least partially) for "You" to go to these classes too . . . Although I had to pay for not only "My" own education - but continuing education and licence renewals too which were not cheap . . . One profession I had 4 State Licences that had to be renewed every 2 years and the other Profession State Licensure required 30 Hours of Continuing Education every 2 years, plus recertification for any/all specialties which were a separate charge . . . Then on top of all that was the Professional Association Membership Fees - especially to show "You" were of "Good" standing . . . Just Sayin' . . .



Guess it is time to check out some of the other ECF neighborhoods . . .

The sleepover was... interesting. The boys didn't actually fall asleep until 1 am. Apparently, my son's friends is terrified that zombies will break into the house at night.

They are already calling for flood warnings...........the trees are so dry they will probably fall over as what happened last month...............

Get the tape that AC people use, it is silver called shurtape dc 181, good for 40 years

I will have to look that up.......I have some pretty black duct tape that I have to add/replace yearly.....
I am going to get some good video of this storm....it's starting to howl now............if the power does go out.........I will be back on when it does......the battery life on this thing is less than 15 mins..........so I won't push it.......and who knows about the cell towers....but I should be able to check back in tonight................
