I've been browsing new vape stuff, but gotta stop before my will power breaks down. So much cool stuff, so little time.
For those of us who have been vaping awhile.....it's not always good to jump on every new item that comes out...wait awhile and see if they last and then buy at lower prices........

I knew you would agree......I have learned by experience...as I am sure you have too.... I have a few things that I wish I never wasted money on as they didn't work as well as expected...so I thought I would add my :2c:................

Sorry to hear that Ken.........I hope it goes away soon........I also have a hard time with aches & pains when it gets humid and it makes is difficult to type sometimes......it's funny though that when it's all out raining that it doesn't hurt as much...mostly just hot and humid.........

1. Good morning/ afternoon everyone :)

Count, sounds like you had quite an adventure yesterday.

I got vapemail today, some juice and some extras the vendor threw in. Still waiting on vapemail from China, it took it 3 days to get from china to London, now I guess it'll come to the US from there. Hopefully I'll see it sometime next week. Also got a package coming from Texas, it shipped 2 day shipping so we'll see if it gets stuck or not. I don't have good luck with vapemail from Texas.

:tumble:

You and me both Bella...........that darn "Black hole of Texas" likes to eat vapemail and spit it back out in about 2 weeks....but I only ordered some coils so I am not in a hurry for them so I didn't spend extra on 2 day express shipping...I shall see how long it sits there.........

I haven't read any of the posts since I last posted. I have a break, but it's not that long :-O

I almost broke... we stopped at a vape shop on our rounds yesterday and there was much temptation. Stepdot got 2 drip tips, and a vape sock. I got e-liquid...

At the vape shop I work in, there's a couple I'm looking at, too, but I can hold off there...

The Labor day sales were soooo tempting.

it just means you are most certainly on the list if I ever get to take my leisure trip around the country
Way back in....ummm... 1971? I drove from Philadelphia to Urbana/Champaign, IL in just under two days with a 3 month old baby (meaning, they were not long days of driving). Today, that would be one day of driving, but probably 16 hours. We are only one more day past that across all of Iowa and most of South Dakota. So if you and hubby ever do want to just take off one day, you are welcome to come park-it at Love Acres and meet all the critters who keep our feet nailed to the ground. :)
I have learned by experience...as I am sure you have too.... I have a few things that I wish I never wasted money on as they didn't work as well as expected..
Well, Blue, can I use your experience (and Uncle's and anyone else who wants to chime in here)? I tootle puff an iStick30 with 2.5ml Kanger Protank-II, usually about 9W and never over 13W, and am quite comfortable with it. I am not looking to ever be a cloud chucker, but I have a feeling I need to make one step upward from where I am (reliability, battery life, things of that nature). I don't think I need more watts, though the availability of said watts would not hurt (just because you have them doesn't mean you have to use them). I do not want drip tanks or any of that fancy stuff. What should the next step be?

Hang in there, Shawn. I have my money on you making it all the way. ;)

12 Sahalie Falls on Upper McKenzie.jpg

While wandering around up in the Cascades, we found the beginning of the McKenzie River. Just down from that, there are three sets of waterfalls, labelled as Sahalie1, 2, and 3 on the map, but I tended to refer to them as Upper, Middle, and Lower Sahalie Falls. This is the Upper falls. (more to come, obviously) :)

Yes Shawn I am proud of you....I never thought you would make it so long.....

Well I am not exactly the one to ask about that......my iStick will be my first powerful battery in years....the only other thing I use besides my puck modbox(s) (that is 4 "AAA" batteries, very reliable) is the eGo-V V3........it's set on 4.9 v that's where I like it and it goes for 3-5 days on 1 charge(no I don't pass through...scary)..I am excited to try the iStick...what I do know quite a bit about is tanks...and my preferred Unitank & mini.....(pretty much like the protank)..I like them over the Aerotank because the 1.8 oHm kills my batteries in 4-6 hours.....I can do RBA's and use them on my modbox but I have to build them to a higher oHm..2.2-2.5 (so they will last more than a few hours) I have a few that I can do that to...
I also like the old dripping atty's at 2.5-3.0 oHm....for testing juices and some flavors that might be tank crackers...
You might want to look into one of those for those times when you think/feel like you need more of something.....I have a few of those and I like Boge standard atomizers...
I bought a few new items a few years ago and they are now all in the bargain bin at those shops as they were not as good as they should have been....the Phoenix Raven for one.....I can barely remember the names of most of them......
most of the time I like to use a coil as I can't see as well as I used to and it's just easier....
My only other item I use is a cartomiser tank....also because I can get them in a 3.0 oHm.....with the new blue glass one I have been using it quite a bit lately.......always reliable.......
I hope that helps.....and ask the experts here....they can help..........
I have some stuff to put away now so...................Have a good day Treefam............

what price range? I've been eyeing the iPV D2 since my kbox quit working.
It's not just that I'm cheap (even though I am cheap), but there is no discretionary money in the budget. That means a dollar ninety eight. :) Seriously, I think the iStick was $30 and I suppose I could just get a second one as a backup, but... Well, $100 for a TC mod is just out of the question for our budget. I am reluctant to go to the thread where everyone sells their "old junk" simply because it is used and has no warranty. I suppose that would also apply to clones because there is no one to back them up when they fail. Is this making any sense? I don't want another eGo/EVOD type, but I also feel a little unsafe with those that require replaceable batteries. I hear great things about mods like Spire, but bad things about getting cheap 18650 batteries for it. We have a couple X6's but the second was bought because the threads on the first one ripped out (my tank is held on by one turn at the moment). Which way do we go? Which way do we go...?
I am not exactly the one to ask about that..
There is no bad information. Everyone's experience can be counted and weighed for applicability. Thank you.

The Wife found a pic of me taken about 9 years ago. I have to share...

How things are going? Busy... getting ready for a show that I manage in October, and another that I participate in in mid September. All the while, try to stay on top of Web design and farm chores and vape stuff. Staying up way too late and not getting up early enough...
