rug tarts
I have been wondering for some time where this nomenclature originated. We called the kids "rug rats" or "curtain climbers" or sometimes "house apes."
fuzzy you ever been up in the pasatin wilderness in Washington state? We used to go in on horseback every year for a week we would rise 21 miles into corral lake and camp for the week then ride out and rack say we'd do day rides to other lakes in the area!!! Your photos make me miss the great north west!!!!
Never been there, but it sounds like a ball! Anywhere near the Olympic wilderness area? (been there) How did you end up in Tennessee? (you have some beautiful scenery there too) Are we still young enough to go? I might make it, but I think my horse is too old now. Come to think of it, I'm not sure my old three-horse slant trailer could make that 2,800 mile round trip either. Sigh...

Well, time to wrap it up for another day, so we drop the sun over the horizon and ruffle the pillow until it's compliant. Hogs & Quiches everyone.

@Ken1979 was posting on another contest thread (yeah, the one with everyone upset about not having their prizes "NOW!") and his auto-correct changed "rats" to "tarts." The term stuck.

Dinner time and then kids (my own rug tarts) go to bed--probably soon followed by me going to bed. Good night, Treefam!

Well time to call it a night...just wish I was tired enough to go to bed...this happens every weekend...I stay up late on my days off (I'm a night owl anyway) and on Sundays, it's impossible for me to go to sleep at a decent hour...think I'll read a book to try and get sleepy...G'night Treefam!

This is one of my favorite pics from the Coast here...the Biloxi lighthouse at sunset...so pretty!

After the way things went at work today I know it's going to be a long week. Been asking people the same questions every day since the middle of last week - didn't get any response until today and that didn't even address the questions. Still wondering how some people have survived into so called adulthood.
