Underground miners at work...these pics were provided by a friend..so I cannot tell you what they are doing

Pretty sure this is a drill rig drilling blast holes underground.. the blasting material will then be placed/pumped into the holes

These are the renowned Chena Hot Springs near Fairbanks , Alaska.....Miners have been coming here to bathe in the rejuvenating springs since pioneer days. The mineral content has been likened to that of the healing waters found in hot springs in the Czech Republic formerly known as Bohemia. Pictured is "the Rock Pond" ...when you get too hot, you can flop yourself onto the rocks which line the pond. This pic was taken at minus 20 *F ...after a while ..your hair and eyelashes begin to frost over!! But the water is always a nice and toasty 106* (average) year round. Supposedly, it's a great place to watch the Aurora (Northern Lights) in the Winter...

I want to be in there!

9/30 - 4: On a serious note. The past co-worker of mine had a child a few years ago and had been trying to have another. After almost two years of trying, his wife became pregnant. I saw him today at the supply shop and tried to joke with him. With tears coming to his eyes, I said sorry as his wife who had become pregnant again for nine weeks mis-carried. SMH and told him sorry. Please pray for Robbie and his wife.

Well - Our Local weather report tonight (That features Max Mayfield the Former National Hurricane Center Director) said that it is going towards the Bahamas - so we'll be getting a lot more rain here (which while "We" NEED the water - the roads have been flooding here for the past few days . . . ). . . Then it may go past your areas VA/NC . . .Or - It could also either head towards the Northeast or further out to sea in a few days . . . So "We" ALL will have to wait a couple of more days to see what will happen . . .

Until then EVERYONE - PLEASE MAKE SURE TO STAY SAFE . . .

We have that storm coming our direction. Well Walmart is packed and shelves are emptying fast. Amazes me how people panic...

BTW: With the people around here it is either all or nothing . . .

I am really looking forward to gettin' in the hot tub after work.

Sounds ok by me - something we used to say - beat me, whip me, make me write bad checks


Anybody else having weird things happen while doing posts?
Cursor keeps going elsewhere and pasting pics puts it in the wrong place is just some of it.

The weird posting stuff started while at work - just a bit before I left - thought it was maybe the gubernant network flaking out again. But it's doing it from home too - gets frustrating to have something almost done then it gets scrambled or parts missing. Then have to take more time to fix it.

Have to take the car in to the shop tomorrow - looks like the brakes for one wheel is messed up - hearing a grinding type noise and can feel it in the pedal. Didn't get the squealing from the feeler tabs that supposed to be there when the pads start getting worn - did they do away with those?
