@CountBoredom @rangerrobin...from your experience/recollection, when's the "best" time to go to catch the wildflowers?....I'd love to take Mom

@KatzWh1skers, like Robin said, there isn't an exact time, but you usually can't miss with March. If the El Nino is anything like they are forecasting, this Spring should be good.

The Air Force removed my wisdom teeth while I was stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ. They used, of all things, Sodium Pentathol (a truth serum?) - I was top secret, so I wonder how much I told them. It wore off before they were done and he broke the molar right in front of the bottom-right wisdom tooth, so they shot me up with Novocaine, which didn't have the desired effect, and I ripped one of the arms off the chair while trying not to scream multiple obscenities. Then I had to come back for a root canal and crown on the broken molar.

They did my wisdom teeth in pairs. For the second pair they forgot the Novocaine... until I grabbed the dentist by the collar and pulled him down so that I can shout in his ear.

Buildings blocking your view? Some buildings around here have giant murals to alleviate such eyesores.

Lucky! Our next holiday off is Thanksgiving.

We get all the federal holidays
Have this and the next one is Veterans day then Thanksgiving.

I would only have tried racing in the ice if they permitted studded tires.

They used studded tires - hardened sheet metal screws.

Wow anjel!!! How do you see through all that fog? Guess he loves it huh? Lol

lol I don't! But I used to live in Bakersfield and the fog got so think it was really like soup so I just pretend I'm "home"

(visibility of literally less that 100 feet at times...wiki says less that 500 in this pic but I promise it got worse than this)
