Good Mornin' / G'Night and Good Vibes Tree Fam!

@Slowone2 - Might be time to consult an attorney. I hired one when I hit a snag with Worker's Comp many years ago. If I had hired him from the start, I would have only had to have have one surgery, instead of two!

It IS possible to navigate those choppy waters without an attorney, but I was overwhelmed, in pain, out of work, depressed, etc.. For me, it was worth the 30% he got in the end. I interviewed three lawyers. The initial consultation did not cost and none of them took money up front.

Extra positive energy coming your way. :nun:

we are considering that route at this point. Waiting to hear back from our health insurance as to what they will settle for and from our car insurance to see what they will offer beyond the offer from the other insurance.

@glassmanoak . . . Glad to read Ya' finally got the surgery, hopefully the recovery will be swift . . .

AND - On that note -to "You" and @liblue1 , @tiggerrts, & @Amlowe . . .

I'm sending some extra - "GOOD VIBES" & "Healing Thoughts"

I may end up having to sue the owner of car, driver,

Well - I've been on both sides of this type of situation, being hurt in an accident where I was not at fault and not having enough money to purchase any additional insurance then what was required by the state law . . . So - Given what "You" and your Family are going though, I fully understand the NEED to sue . . . Hopefully, the driver of the car was not the owner of the car and they both have different insurance companies and/or at least one of them has some form of "Property" to attach . . . Either way, it will be interesting to see if they have anything to get, besides the vehicle itself or putting a lien on their salary . . . Especially since people who only have basic car insurance is usually because they cannot afford the cost for more insurance or they have nothing to protect like a Home or a large/any real bank account - nor savings either, since they are barely making it as it is . . . SO - In the long run it may not be worth suing them unless Ya' can get a Lawyer who will take the case on a contingency bases to take on the Insurance companies (which I am sure many Ambulance chaser will be willing to do - BTW: Just as a heads up - Keep an eye on the Lawyer's accounting if they win the suite, thankfully I did when it came time to be paid . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;) ) . . . Anyway, a really good lawyer will be able to give Ya' more detailed information . . . GOOD LUCK ! ! !

@Shawn Hoefer . . . Of Course - Ya' should post a link to the video when it's up online . . . :thumbs:

Well - Guess it is time to check out some of the other ECF neighborhoods . . .

Good morning everyone!

@Amlowe more positive prayers for you and yours...depending on what happens in the next few days I maybe meeting hubby in Bristol to see his mawmaw. Shes still in the hospital but still hanging on too

@Slowone2 hopefully this will all be resolved for your quickly. Positive energies to you sweetie

@mac63 are your shorter 2 and 3 day work weeks a good thing or a bad thing? A couple weeks of that would be fine with hubby but then he would be wanting to get back to a full week lol

@glassmanoak I'm glad to hear the first surgery went well. Praying the time flies so you can get the second one done!

Have a great day my dears

Been there, done that, so I am really feeling for you at the moment. I had the lens replaced in my right eye after two retina surgeries, and a couple months after the cataract surgery, they had to laser blast the new lens because it started to get foggy (which they said was common), so watch for that.

So we got a reply back from the lawyer for our health insurance company. They have decided my bills are 16 grand and they paid 8, which is what they want. Also a couple grand to pay workers comp. not sure where the at fault insurance came up with such a high number. Probably should not talk about all this in public but I'm not trying to get more then is right or cheat the insurance. Do like to vent though lol

Well, sadness this morning because the buyer (our hay guy) of Ellie, our six month old heifer, came and picked her up. Although selling her helped pay for the hay for all the remaining cows/horses, it was sad to see this little lover baby leave us. Luckily, I believe she will have a good home. Now it's time for me to get off the forum and go do some work (and sharpen saw chains because if the weather isn't too bad tomorrow - more wood cutting).

2 Kisses from Breezy.JPG

Taking a break while setting new fence posts and stringing wire (what you see in this pic was temporary), Breezy decides to kiss Gampa while her mom, Big Wind, looks on.
