Thanks girl...no, you didn't miss it...it's actually on the 26th...on Thanksgiving...I guess I'll really have something special to be thankful for then! :D

Thanks everyone for the well wishes...have progressively felt worse throughout the day, but bf was sweet and brought me home an eggnog daiquiri, so at least I won't care that I'm sick! :p
Whew! I thought it was next week. ;)
I never heard of an Eggnog Daiquiri. That sounds divine! :D I avoid dairy when I'm sick, but enjoy. :toast:

Any tips for getting back on track when one gets back to old habits? Hubby took to smoking while I was in AL...he says hes not going to buy another pack, but I'm worried that he might be going back to smoking for real
..well...there's a whole 'nuther thread where folks are sharing their Vapology Story ...You know which one I mean?;)
Maybe one of their sharings might inspire you or give you some ideas. I agree with @angelphyre (?) ...It's every cig you DON'T smoke ...I have not tried any of the NET 's or WTA juices ...yet:D ...Might be something worth looking into....
And @tiggerrts ...I like the Vaping Math :thumb: ..bumping up to a higher nic has helped me thru some rough spots as well
And what IS it with the German Chocolate Cake ???!
I betcha Germans don't even make that kind of cake :D Their idea of a Chocolate Cake would prob taste something like a cocoa flavored tea biscuit ....with LOTS of buttercreme frosting..
..they really like their Buttercreme frosting ...which I actually do not care for:p

I put together some tobacco e-juice and a little raspberry over some German chocolate cake flavor. Then I vape it at a higher wattage than I would a regular flavor.
 :D

11/20 #5
I started mixing a little tobacco juice with a little German Chocolate Cake juice and it really seemed to satisfy that occasional craving. It might have helped that German Chocolate Cake is my absolute favorite sweet food, but either way it seemed to do the trick. A bit of trivia..... German Chocolate Cake originally comes from Texas!
..the New Braunfels area, no doubt  ...:D

11/20 - 3: I am starting to feel more and more free already. Smiling, joking and laughing way more than ever in the last year.
:thumb::thumb: (Yay!!)

Settling in for the night...G'night/Morning folks!

Good boy, Tiggs. Those are the first steps toward your future. Now just remember not to look behind you.
And what IS it with the German Chocolate Cake ???! I betcha Germans don't even make that kind of cake
The Germans I knew liked something called Black Forrest cake. Chocolate cake with a creamy chocolate frosting in about seven layers. That is, seven-layers of cake with thick frosting between each layer and all over the top and sides. Sometimes, even with some extra sweet fruit syrup drizzled over the outside (I was rather partial to the raspberry). Yummy. Only about a million calories per bite, which is probably why many older Germans are fat.

Well, TreeFam, guess this is my last post of the night. Maybe I can actually cuddle my pillow earlier than normal tonight. G'nite my friends...

Main street of Old Tucson movie studio, Arizona. The bodies in the street were a staged gunfight. Pretty cool watching stunt men fall off the roof and all (and stand up and walk away afterward).

The woman that made it used a particular company's chocolate. The man's name was Samuel German and he developed a new baking chocolate, German's Sweet Chocolate. The cake was a hit and she called it German's Chocolate Cake, eventually everyone just dropped the 's
It's always been my favorite, my mom used to make one for my birthday every year.:D

Hmmmmm, are you stalking me, New Braunfels is my hometown?

11/20 - 6: It took me many songs to figure out what to say, your right Fuzzy don't look back; however pain is pain. Some want to see happy, some want uplifting, some need that cool soft song that says goodnight. So how does tigg handle all the above? Not just about me, more of the family.... hmmm many a minute is passing as I ponder this.
Think I have it.....

More than words in this family, PIF to others in need. Giving those good vibes, prayers, good feelings; even down to the likes on a bad post to show how you are uplifting them. That is family. Yup this in my heart is the right song to say good night this night.

Good night all, sleep well, work well, play well; do it all well.

Disclaimer :
This is not going to be my normal last post of the day.

First Thanks to Everyone who sent good Vibes and Prayers! Wifey is doing a little better, her first liter bag of fluids is already done and the second will be done by morning, hopefully this will keep her out of the hospital.

A lot of you have heard this story before but for the newer Tree Family Members who may still be struggling I will tell it again because if I can do it anyone has the capability to do it.

I started this journey in to vaping January of 2011. My son wanted to quit smoking and he thought a ecig would help him do it. I smoked a pack and a half to 2 packs of Winstons a day for almost 35 years and had no desire to quit, I enjoyed smoking. We went to a shop of a poker buddy of my older sons that made eliquid and also had some small kits. The only reason I bought one was he made us a deal on two Dse901 cig-a-like kits and I figured if I could keep from going outside in the freezing cold and by getting a little nic into me why not.
I found this forum in February and joined. I soon upgraded to the state of the art Ego battery. Then I found a VV box mod that had a plastic case and a carto tank. I began smoking less and vaping more.
By around July of that year I was down to 2 cigarettes a day, one in the morning when I let the dogs out and one on my way home from work. One morning I just picked up my box mod and not a cigarette. Not smoking lasted until September when I went to do a grand opening in Chicago for the company I worked for where I started smoking a couple cigs a day. That lasted till sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas when I smoked my last cigarette. I don't know what day I had my last cigarette, all that I know is it was somewhere between those dates.
I never intended on quitting smoking it just kinda happened 4 years ago sometime soon.
I did stay on a very high nicotine level, 30mg, for a long time and only in the last year I have been able to cut it way back back to the 8mg I use now.
For those of you that still smoke just remember it's not the cigarettes you smoke that count, it's the ones you don't smoke that do count.

That was one of the longest posts most of you have seen me make! So with that said.............................

Hubby made it to about 25 miles out and had to pull off to rest. Hoping to get up in middle of night and make it the rest of the way. Yes I shoveled snow while sick. I am a stubborn girl who was raised on a farm and her daddy's favorite son. Saved my hubby some extra work for the weekend.

I'm glad to hear she's doing a little better. Excellent post and you are correct, it's the ones you don't smoke that count.
