anjel, that story is sad but c'mon..anyone who vapes and especially those that DIY know what the dangers of nicotine are. This guy was intent on killing himself and used what was available to him. Stories and people like him sheds very bad light on the vaping industry. JMHO though.

11/28 - 2: the news. A person wanting to commit suicide can find many ways to do it. By a gun, knife, rope; or many other means. This is just more propaganda to stop e-cigs that are safe for the majority..... Oh go back to those real cigarettes that have those so good 4,000 carcinogens and cancer causing agents. Just my

Well said @tiggerrts all this negative press is really getting to be a load of bs. E cigs have saved my life. I feel better and breathe better and save a pile of money each week. So tired of all the negative crap spewed out by the media.

I completely agree! I found it sad not because a man killed himself but because of the against ecigs...Its disturbing the lengths that are being gone to...and all in the name of a product and lifestyle that is proven to be deadly

Oh, I agree with you. Just looking at the two, side by side, it seems fairly obvious the metal on the innokin is thicker, therefore logic dictates it should survive more abuse. I do not, however, know about the inside. What is the sturdiness and quality of the circuit boards, battery connections, etc., etc.? I ask this because I have had some instruments (not vaping gear) that were good solid steel, but when dropped from only 3 feet, ceased to function because of crappy circuit boards inside, yet others, made of plastic, that we threw off the roof (ISO 9001 testing) that looked like crap afterward and still functioned perfectly. All I am saying is that, without good QC data on all the available mods, we cannot know which one will take more abuse.

Innokin is known for quality products that just work. I have nine(!?) Innokin devices: some I've outgrown, one I've pretty much killed after a year+ of daily use, but I've only had a problem with one that could be considered a QC problem--and that is only that it will not read some toppers that other devices (even other Innokin device) will read; and that is seems to usually be caused by me not tightening the anchor screws enough on my coil in the Subtank RDA...

I have a couple online shoppin' carts filled, but am holdin' out for even better Black Friday deals. I'm only buyin' a Herakles Plus and replacement coils, which are both pre-orders, but still want to get the best deal possible.

For a brief moment, I was dreadin' work tomorrow, then I remembered it's only a 2.5 day work week for me!
