Well - Not a good day for "Me" and not for any of the reasons that you might think either . . . AND - I will leave it at that for the moment . . . I really don't want to bombard everyone with the details . . . However - For those who might be interested in knowing more - Cardiologist Appointment & RANT:
I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM . . . I didn't learn anything from the Cardiologist at all, especially since during the supposed exam "We" butted heads right from the start given they way he jump on the one and only issue he thought as the cause of "My" current issue . . . No Physical Exam, No Test Results - Nothing. . . His remarks were only based on what he read from the intake form . . . As though I don't know anything or ever heard that smoking is bad for you - even when I mentioned that I have been using a "E-Cig" and have already cut back half of what I did smoke . . . He kept insisting and harping on over and over again that "My" Heart Problem was only because I was still smoking (He didn't say anything about using the "E-Cig" at all) . . . Not only that, he was derogatory about almost everything, including the Sleeping pill "My" PCP prescribed as being the worse . . . Then it was that I was taking to many pills, especially the Supplements I have taken over the past 30+ years - according to him they Don't Work or Do Anything to help . . .Then instead of having a conversation about what else I was doing to improve "My" health . . . It was what I NEEDED to do . . . No Consideration about anything else I was doing already . . . Not that I lowered & was maintaining "My" Diabetic A1c count; Lost over 50 lbs - he said I still needed to lose weight even though I barely was eating anything now; I have lower "My" Cholesterol - which is even better than "My" PCP's, and more importantly, that the recent Lung X-Ray came back with nothing observable . . . Of Course - I did mention those things to him and he finally stopped . . . Then came the hands on exam which took less then 5 minutes (Blood Pressure/Listening to Breathing - nothing else), with the result of changing 2 Scripts I've been taking to higher dosages and scheduling a Ultra-Sound & next month a Nuclear Stress Test, also wants me to have Bllod work done and "MY" PCP to send him the past one . . . SO - Finally I asked what he thought the preliminary diagnosis was - He said that he couldn't say, but it is cause by Smoking . . .
JEEZZ - Alright already - enough . . . Yes - I know, smoking has an effect and has something to do with the issues I am having with "My" Heart, but it cannot be the only reason/s, especially with the Family history I have and the other medical problems I am dealing with . . . It's not what I am smoking it is all about the ones I have stopped smoking - SO STOP ! ! ! AND - That's how "We" left it for now . . . Can't wait to see what he has to say after all the test, but if he keeps this up I don't know what I will do yet . . . However, I will wait to see what happens next . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Yesterday, when I got home from work, a very large redwood branch had fallen in my driveway. So, I was imagin' trees fallin' on me and my neighbors, through the heaviest of the storm.
Since I was unable to get back to sleep, I've called out "tired" today.

Ugh need more coffee or something. Ready to crash and I have only been at work for 2 hours. I really need to start going to bed earlier. Maybe lunch time will be nap time today.

@Uncle - That just bites! He sounds like one of those doctors who gets something set in his head and nothing will change his mind on it...I hate close minded people like that. Hope you can find a better doctor and if not, maybe take a bat with you next time to knock some sense into him!

To be honest, Not sure . . . He is not that old (50 ish') and from what I researched online I found out he is originally from South Africa and Graduated from a very good medical college where he also had a fellowship . . . He is affiliated with a number of Hospitals here that are listed as the Best in Cardiac Care . . . Also, besides the fact that he lived and worked in NYC (which adding this to the "Dry" British way of talking to someone can explain the attitude and why "We" butted heads) - he does come highly recommended from a couple of very good resources, including "My" PCP who I trust to do right by "Me" . . . So given this, I am willing to let him do what NEEDS to be done and have another conversation with him to discuss how "WE" will work together or not - before making any rash decisions just yet . . . Got to keep a level head, especially since there are very few "GOOD" Cardiologist available to "Me" via the Insurance program I am with . . . Anyway - I think that is enough of "My" Medical Trials & Tribulations . . . Time to get back to the other priorities - like finding a Dentist asap . . .

I got caught in a hailstorm yesterday while I was out....it was fun....at least I made it to the store parking lot before it really came down....it was a quick one....but still no snow....not that I have my groceries I am ready....Let it snow...let it snow...let it snow...........

Wow! "My" opinion is that you need a different doctor... but that's "me." I had to have a kidney stone blasted (sonic disrupter style) last year, and because my pre-op EKG showed an irregular heartbeat (which I have had most of my life), they made me see a cardiologist first. She was like your doc - totally fixated on smoking. But they found absolutely nothing wrong with my heart or lungs... NOTHING! So she made up some bullcrap (I did the research on her "probable cause" and, given the test results, it was a ridiculous conclusion on her part). If I ever have a real heart problem, I sure won't be going to see her, regardless of all the fancy diplomas hanging on the wall.

GMO...I love this extra flavor Marshmallow........it's excellent....at 3 mg it's just right.....I have already gone through 1 1/2 tanks since yesterday evening.......I do hate how fast the juice goes with the sub ohm tanks.....but this is excellent........... I must be having more.......
