Dinner last night has not been sitting well with me. It gave me weird dreams last night, made all the more surreal because they were deciphered in the manner of History Detectives ("I did not know why everyone else was eating their meal while standing. I decided to check with Art Burwell, who wrote a book on dining etiquette...").

Hey there tree peeps. How's things?
Healing thoughts for those who need relief.
Happy thoughts for those who need cheer.
Loving thoughts for those who feel alone.

Smile people, smile. If dogs and monkeys can do it surely we can too.

THANKS EVERYONE - Especially for commiserating and sending all the "GOOD VIBES" . . . As with most people, I do not like or appreciate going to a Dentist . . . Matter of fact, I actually never even had a cavity until I was over 21 and that was questionable given what that Dentist did at the time . . . All I will say it really was - NOT NICE  . . . And, after having an abscess and having to have a tooth pulled over a couple of years ago (only the 3rd one, besides "wisdom" teeth) - haven't had any real major problems recently until this past weekend . . . I just hope I can find a Dentist that will work with "Me" to save and help maintain the rest of the teeth that I have left, given what else is happening with "My" Health . . . On that note: Tomorrow is the first time I have got to go see a Cardiologist and see what they have to say about the enlarged heart that showed up on the X-ray I had recently to check out "My" Lungs (which were shockingly - not as bad as I or "My" PCP was expecting them to be - since there were no huge signs of smoking cigarettes  ) . . . Anyway, better to be informed, then not know what is happening with "Your" body . . . SO - We'll see what they have to say . . . BTW: It's been said before in a variety of ways - Getting Older is NOT for Wimps . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Okay - It's time to check out some of the other ECF neighborhoods too . . .

Have they used the words "pulmonary hypertension" to you? Also, so sorry about your tooth issue. I had all mine pulled in 1977 and am still using the original set if dentures I got stuffed in my face after that surgery. I have never been able to figure out why people hate dentures because I have no problems with them and NEVER have to see dentist about anything any more. Oh well...

I am still looking around for a dentist for myself here...I have been needing to go also...but really can't afford it either....I am sure it's not too bad yet...but that's when you are supposed to go...before it gets bad.....maybe next year I will.......

@anjelvape77 ...I see my perfect Christmas tree! ....right ...right over THERE!! :D
:tumble:
One of my favorite memories from when I was little was our parents taking us to a tree farm outside of town and mom picking her perfect tree while my brother and I played in the rows of trees....it always went up the day after thanksgiving and stayed up until new years day...

mom picking her perfect tree
This is not picking on anyone, but my favorite tree is the one no one cuts down to take in the house for a few weeks, then throws away. Try a smaller tree in a pot full of dirt, then take it outside and plant it back in the ground. Or (and I guess this is my druid side showing), just decorate it outside and let it continue living its life where it belongs. ...just sayin' ...

Some friends of ours are using an Adopt-a-Tree service this year: They get a growing tree for the holiday delivered to their door and, afterward, the service comes and picks it up and plants it somewhere. It sounds a little pricey, but I'm curious to see what their experience is like...

I so agree............it's cruel and I have felt that way for as long as I can remember.....why not let them live..............I suppose I am also part druid as I can see/hear that they want to live....there is an old children's book about this...."The little Christmas Tree".........with the sweetest story I have ever read..........

Have they used the words "pulmonary hypertension" to you?

Although. I have a laundry list of Health issues and problems as many people may have at this age . . . Thankfully, so far - NO ! ! ! That is not one of the many diagnoses I have heard yet . . . AND - Hopefully that will not be the cause . . . However, given that heart disease runs in "My" family on both sides who knows what it will be . . . Matter of fact, in "My" immediate family - "My" father had a problem with his heart since about the age of 35 and died of a massive Heart attack just before his 65th Birthday, "My" Mother had a Quintuple Bypass at about the age of 60 (along with a number of other problems) who lived until 82 and died from Lung Cancer, and then there is "My" Older brother who also had an Enlarged Heart that died from an OD before he was 60 (BTW: Which he could not handle turning that old - since he had a "Peter Pan" mentality ). . . SO - I will have to wait and see what the Cardiologist has to say tomorrow to actually know what is happening . . . ;)

but that's when you are supposed to go...before it gets bad.

YEP ! ! ! :( Too Bad, I didn't heed that advice and go sooner "Myself" . . .

I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO WEAR DENTURES ! ! ! :censored: :censored: :censored:

Anyway, got someone to come over and help start giving this place a "Spring Cleaning" before they come to Inspect again on Thursday . . . So - I am off until later . . . :D

I am sorry Uncle that you have to go through this at all....I wish you good health(at least better health).....

Some friends of ours are using an Adopt-a-Tree service this year: They get a growing tree for the holiday delivered to their door and, afterward, the service comes and picks it up and plants it somewhere. It sounds a little pricey, but I'm curious to see what their experience is like...
I would also be interested...especially around here where there is so much tree service...and lots of placed to replant them...it's about time they did something like that...........

"My" father had a problem with his heart since about the age of 35 and died of a massive Heart attack just before his 65th Birthday,
Please don't allow that to happen to you. We'd like for you to be around a lot longer (assuming, of course, that this is also your desire). Dying before you're ready is... how do you put it? - NOT NICE!
