1214 - 2: Howdy back from work, we had about six inches of snow that accumulated, more fell. Your not the only one working on it. I see in my mind a snowfall that you almost say to it "too much" and it stops and you smile, it is perfect.

:tumble:
Yeah Tiggs.....I love it.................Perfectly perfect...............

12/14 -3: So was it a good day yesterday? @Roadtrip635

The jury is still out. My team had probably the worst performance of the season, but his team was just as bad. We both had poor performance and mid-game injuries to key players. It's gonna come down to tonight, he's all done and leads by 3.10 pts and I have one player left, my kicker. My kicker has been good this year, but he did only get 2pts. two games ago......

It's a big game, winner continues in the playoffs and will at least finish in the money and loser goes home empty handed. My season comes down to a kicker, which is nerve-wracking in fantasy or real life football........ :pop:

I don't know....the weatherman gave an early prediction yesterday and said "Highly unlikely" for Christmas snow in the lowlands
Your weather man is that grain of black sand on your white beach, instilling the negative in your dream. Ignore him. Create your own reality. When you come to believe it, it will come to be.

1. Oh my what a crazy few days!...We ended up going back out yesterday and we finally found the guy and got him served...fine by me because I get paid for both attempts. Then last night on the way home was the scariest trip I've ever taken...as soon as I left it started pouring rain and the wind had been blowing pretty good all day too, but the bad part was when I got back into MS. They've been doing construction there, so the lines aren't very visible in good weather, but last night, I had a spot where it started pouring so bad, we all had to slow down to about 5 miles per hour...and all the idiots decided to line up behind me and let me lead the way...Whose stupid idea was that...don't you know you don't let a blonde lead anything!...No really, I couldn't see even a couple feet in front of me and couldn't even determine where the road was, much less any of the lanes...at one point I ended up all the way over in the other lane and about to go off the shoulder on the opposite side from where I started...let's just say I was pretty scared there for a bit...but stopping wasn't really an option either, since you couldn't see at all and I was afraid that someone might run into me on the side of the road, even if I could have found it...I've never been so glad to get home as I was last night...think I left permanent finger indentations in the steering wheel! :p

Hope you are doing well @Uncle at least founds something that has killed the pain.

Well - Better than I was a couple of nights ago . . . THANKS For Asking . . . As for when the "Attack"/pain hits, right now there is nothing I can take that will relieve it as quickly as I desperately hope it would go - I can only treat it the best I can when it hits (with Ice packs on chest & head/Lots of TUMS - Antacids/Ginger Ale) and wait until it subsides enough or I pass out from pure exhaustion . . . Other than that I take Nexium daily & a generic 300 MG Zantac before eating dinner & when NEEDED . . . Hopefully will find another GI Doctor real soon (the doctor I had no longer takes the insurance I have) . . . Until I do just gotta suffer . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Create your own reality. When you come to believe it, it will come to be.

YEP - I'm Still WORKIN' On It ! ! !

@angelphyre . . .SO BEEN THERE DONE THAT . . . That kind of rain happens down here in Florida all the time and the drivers are just as bad, except for those that think it is time to speed up and pass everyone . . . Anyway, I am SO GLAD "You" made it back home and safe too . . .

THEY ARE REALLY OUT THERE & So Are Their Stories . . .
forehead-slap-smiley-emoticon.gif

(Must read them all to get to the real punchline at the end . . .)

ONE

Recently, I went to McDonald's and I saw on the menu that you could have an order of 6, 9 or 12 Chicken McNuggets.

I asked for a half dozen nuggets.

'We don't have half dozen nuggets,' said the teenager at the counter.

'You don't?' I replied.

'We only have six, nine, or twelve,' was the reply.

'So I can't order a half dozen nuggets, but I can order six?'

'That's right.'

So I shook my head and ordered six McNuggets

(Unbelievable but sadly true...)

(Must have been the same one I asked for sweetener and she said they didn't have any, only Splenda and sugar.)

TWO

I was checking out at the local Wal-Mart with just a few items and the lady behind me put her things on the belt close to mine.

I picked up one of those dividers that they keep by the cash register andplaced it between our things so they wouldn't get mixed.

After the girl had scanned all of my items, she picked up the divider, looking it all over for the bar code so she could scan it.

Not finding the bar code, she said to me, 'Do you know how much this is?'

I said to her 'I've changed my mind; I don't think I'll buy that today.'

She said 'OK,' and I paid her for the things and left.

She had no clue to what had just happened.

(But the lady behind me had a big smirk on her face as I left)

THREE

A woman at work was seen putting a credit card into her DVD drive and pulling it out very quickly.

When I inquired as to what she was doing, she said she was shopping on the Internet and they keptasking for a credit card number, so she was using the ATM thingy.

(Keep shuddering!!)

FOUR

I recently saw a distraught young lady weeping beside her car.

'Do you need some help?' I asked.

She replied, 'I knew I should have replaced the battery to this remote door un-locker. Now I can't get into my car. Do you think they (pointing to a distant convenience store) would have a battery to fit this?'

Hmm, I don't know. Do you have an alarm, too?' I asked.

'No, just this remote thingy,' she answered, handing it and the car keys to me.

As I took the key and manually unlocked the door, I replied, 'Why don't you drive over there and check about the batteries. It's a long walk....'

PLEASE just lay down before you hurt yourself !!!

FIVE

Several years ago, we had an Intern who was none too swift.

One day she was typing and turned to a secretary and said, 'I'm almost out of typing paper. What do I do?'

'Just use paper from thephotocopier', the secretary told her.

With that, the intern took her last remaining blank piece of paper, put it on the photocopier and proceeded to make five blank copies.

A Brunette, by the way!!

SIX

A mother calls 911 very worried asking the dispatcher if she needs to take her kid to the emergency room, the kid had eaten ants.

The dispatcher tells her to give the kid some Benadryl and he should be fine, the mother says, 'I just gave him some ant killer......'

Dispatcher: 'Rush him in to emergency right now!'

Life is tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid!!!!

Someone had to remind me, so I'm reminding you too. Don't laugh.....it is all true...

NOW - Something to think about . . .

Perks of reaching 60 or being over 70 and heading towards 80!

1.Kidnappers are not very interested in you.

2.In a hostage situation you are likely to be released first.

3.No one expects you to run--anywhere.

4.People call at 8 PMand ask, "Did I wake you?"

5.People no longer view you as a hypochondriac.

6.There is nothing left to learn the hard way.

7.Things you buy now won't wear out.

8.You can eat supper at 5 PM.

9.You can live without sex but not your glasses.

10. Your supply of brain cells is finally down to manageable size.

11. You can't remember who sent you this list.

12. And you notice these are all in Big Print for your convenience.

And remember: Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night ! ! !
It is too awful to contemplate.

Wow, Uncle! The bad part is that I have met some of those people. Seems we have bred a whole generation of idiots who simply cannot understand that some things work without electronics/batteries/scanners... I once argued with a cashier because she gave me more money in change than I had initially given her in payment. The manager walked by and told me to keep it - any shortage in her till would come out of her wages until she learned to add and subtract.
it started pouring so bad, we all had to slow down to about 5 miles per hour..
That was, indeed, an awful experience and I am glad you are OK. I remember following a semi across the sandy area near Palm Springs because I could not see the highway at all for the blowing sand (and praying HE had some clue if we were still on the road -- I wonder if he was blonde?). Also, driving in fog so thick in the coast range mountains of Orygun, I had to roll down the window and stick my head out looking straight down to see the centerline of the highway so I knew I was still on the road and in my own lane. Weather happens...
