well lots to do today, tree fam.
For your amusement...thought I'd share a WORD assignment from a class I took last year. The "Family" ...as you might guess...is my cat family. (RUN, @Uncle RUN!!:eek:)
Sorry @Uncle ...read at your own risk....:( The Spoiler Feature is hassling me and it's not worth the anxiety :facepalm:

I also get headaches from the medicine I am on. I hate them, They only last a few mins but are bad.

@mac63 I speak a little okinawan
I am reading that your wife is very proud of you and your skills. She doesn't want to bother you, as she sees how hard you work and struggle to get enough rest.
. She wants to show she can do things herself and not have to bother you. Unfortch ...she is not blessed in the mechanics dept ... Her skills lie elsewhere...not in fan repair.
In a Perfect World ...all of us would only do that which we know we do well and avoid or find someone else to do the things they are good at but we are not. Barring this , cluster f---- and learning experiences tend to occur frequently. :p in other words...that's Life. :D
She may fear your criticism and therefore not ask for help or tell you the mishap that has occurred :(
Perhaps this was a fun exercise for her ....rather like when my brother took Dad's watch apart ....He IS mechanically inclined however, and was able to reassemble it back to working order :rolleyes:
Fans are much better to practice on than automotive brakes and nuclear reactors :D ...and no one was hurt.
Accentuate her positives...and allow her to shine where she shines effortlessly. This way no one's self esteem is damaged.
We all have talents ....just not in fan repair :eek:

:tumble:

Not much mechanical skill needed for the fans - keeping parts for the 2 separated would have been enough. Just hoping the repairs I made hold up - hard to fix things that aren't built to be fixed -all part off today's throw away society.

Besides - if I can do a trade-in based on age, I could get TWO newer models and some change back:D

12/23 - 3: TIOA Sns 5 Eps 6: One thing that @Uncle enjoyed was going out to someplace nice. With some nice quality to it, candle and a nice smooth warm breeze. Nice to have enough money that you can do whatever it is you want to do. Just loving every night of it, in any town, city; or beach he wanted. Uncle had enough on him just like most would; there was no problem with that; but somehow at the right time @angelphyre would send you more if you were out having a good time. There was no emergency or any other procedure that cost as single person of the family a single dime; and you always had the best.

The holidays and new year had passed already and he just had a bucket list on his mind and written down and if he remembered the meeting correctly until the end of February. Oh man all that good eating, and he could see a few pounds add on.... but it was so worth it, some of the finest dining a person in the world could do. He passed up all the offers from the world diplomats, Kings, Queens; well anyone. Some members of the treefam actually took up a few of those offers.

Tonight was no different just the finest meal in the world, the taste perfect. The scene was good enough, but the night was perfect as well, the air brisk but in no way cold. All that working out had done him well, and he always had energy; so decided to take a walk. Such a beautiful evening and night.

Later than ever getting started on the forum today, but it was my monthly shopping run (Faith to Newell to Belle Fourche to Spearfish to Rapid City to Sturgis to Newell and home), then barely got it all unloaded before evening chores, a quick dinner, half an hour of movie, then down here to the dungeon. The only bad news: When I got home, I slipped and dropped my SXmini with my precious Aspire Nautilus tank and broke it - not the glass but the base snapped off. Drat! Maybe I can put it in the vise tomorrow and tap it with a tiny hammer and get it reseated. I know we live in a throw-away society, but remember I am Ebenezer Scrooge and will not play that game if there is any alternative. Other than that, the harrowing shopping just before Xmas was not as bad as one might think and I managed to acquire everything on the shopping list. Tired, but a good day.
