Wifey needs Good Vibes and Prayers, I had to leave work early to take her to the hospital. Her doctor did a direct admission so we won't have to go through the ER.

@mac63 ....I was glad to hear you got "what you wanted" ...from what you had to choose from.
I took to riding the trains all over the place on the Mainland ....hopped to Korea to shop ...bought more stereo equipment ....joinied the inter service softball team ...bought more stereo equipmenr ....and I really got into photography ...all those cherry blossoms
I did ok till they denied my leave twice ...then they said I had an attitude problem (ya think??!!) ...which I did ...I was 21 and I missed my family ...But that too came to an end. As this stint will for you.
I know you will make the best of it ...(even if it is Indianapolis )

Can't say there was/is any choice in the process. I put out some feelers to see what openings might be out there and some things were done at the appropriate time. System don't normally work that way but nothing against any rules happened and things like this have most likely been done before.

I remember the super low prices on stereo gear here (cameras as well). They used to have a annual sale here where you could get things even cheaper than the already low prices - lots of gear got bought at those.

I mentioned this before, but I've been given a larger work load, so it's time for me to put my nose to the grind stone. Starting Monday, I can only "play" on-line before and after work.

I've been posting daily to the tree threads, since April of 2014! It would be hard for me to give up my tree fam, so I'll be reading and posting, just not with dates and numbers or as often.

To answer RR's question from the last thread.
Closest family is in mid Michigan - most of a day drive. There's at least one guy I've known for awhile working there - could be more that I've known in the past.

I'm glad you'll have family within a day's drive, if needed.

I know I missed a lot in the past week since I didn't even post at all last week...I was taking a break from the forum for most of the week and just enjoying my time off as much as I could...it went by way too fast though...can't believe I only have one day left! But do want to wish all my Treefam a very Happy New Year (yes, I know I'm a day late, but the wish is still good!)
