So did you get copies of the tickets RR? Didn't you check them?

I was the one to buy them for both draws and yes, I had copies. However, I was in a meeting during the drawing and was driving home afterwards, when all the texts started coming in. I was beat when I got home, so I didn’t check the tickets because there was a consensus. Then this morning, there was a new consensus, so I finally checked them, but even with the numbers and copies of tickets, I misread them!

After we thought we won 50K, we thought we won 683K because there was a winning ticket for that amount in the same City!

If the lottery officials come to your office and present one of those big checks, you'll have to post the pic!

Powerball Update: Because our win was under a million, only one person can claim. An IRS form had to be completed by us as a group and individually. Everyone wanted me to go claim it, since I bought it, but I have too much work to do. (If we won the jackpot, I would not have work to do.)
Two of my co-workers volunteered and are going to claim the winnings tomorrow. Checks will be mailed to each of the winners; 13 of us for their portion, after taxes.

So went to the doc, then had to wait 2 hours at Walmart for my meds. Diagnosed with bronchitis and a severe cold. May have to go back in Saturday. Not allowed to go to work tomorrow either, so looks like it's time to rest up.
