Congrats and thx to everyone else! Hard to believe another week has passed. I'm not sure that's good or bad.

Sorry, I'm not gonna "Like" anyone's internet troubles. Or bad news. My limited experience with DSL is classic for doing as little as possible. We can't get it because the junction box for the area looks like it's been fried. My brother works for the phone company and was surprised I could get dial up. He thought for sure they'd have to add another box twenty years ago. Nope. The problem might not even be your lines. All I can suggest is upgrade your phone plan, that's what I did and it's been a life saver.

There's some good promo's once in awhile. Sprint was having a "half off whatever your paying" weird promo. I've heard a lot about Straight Talk which must have decent data plans since this is coming from folks using phones for TV. A lot of people don't have traditional internet anymore. I've considered phone only too. I read a comment the other day that only old folks had cable. Whatever.

So just a random question here. Anyone use tapatalk to access ECF? Wondering if it would be any better than using chrome on my phone.

I use Taptalk and I like it. It is different and so I miss things on my phone that I'd catch on my laptop, but I pick up on other things that I'd miss any other way. So it's more like having 2 accts. I don't have access to pics or links and haven't figured out how those work, more out of lack of desire and patience rather than complications. The emoticons are much cuter and I forget to use those.

It's streamlined so I'm sure it saves some data. I like it better than using a browser on my phone. As far as which one I use, that depends on the signal. I can always connect using one or the other. Tapatalk is first choice. I don't remember if I have the free or paid version. I also had to change preferences because my phone was dinging like crazy with notifications when I thought I had them all OFF. That's part of the learning curve. It doesn't cost anything to try it and nothing's messed up if you don't like it.

I'm way behind on everything. I feel like a lousy friend because I haven't gotten back to a couple of people. That's what I do when I'm overwhelmed. It has nothing to do with them, but ...

Did the bicycle ride. Didn't warm up as much as it was supposed to so was a bit on the cool side out there. Ended up riding a little more than 12.5 km.

Well - "MoringNite" - "Tree People" . . .

. . . Start of a NEW DAY . . .

Time for - COFFEE

YES - COFFEE - TIME . . .

@tiggerrts . . . It would be nice to wait for everyone to post on Saturday before a winner was selected and to give everyone time to post 12 times for the day too, however "You" do realize that being able to post that many times in the day is actually a bonus for the day . . . Also, it has been quite difficult already to coordinate when both "GMO" and I will be online at the same time for the drawings and starting a new thread each contest . . . Besides the fact that it would mean both "GMO" and I could not plan to do anything else for the day . . . 12 Noon California is 3 PM where "GMO" is and 4 PM EST for "Me" . . . AND - Let's not get started if "We" all waited for "mac" to be online at the same time as most everyone else, especially since he is a day earlier then "We" are here in the States (which means he has an extra day to post as it is). That's why the for the contest to end and the random drawing is set for anytime between 12 Midnight/AM to 12 Noon Central Time each Saturday. SO - I hope "You" will understand why it will not be changing . . .

@Anthony-Usa_OH and Everyone else . . . Please be very careful of the Videos "You" post . . . Whether or not "We" consider them safe - ECF and the Moderators may not . . . AND - While I do not want any individual to get into trouble, more importantly I am sure none of "Us" want The vape Tree threads to be closed down - which can happen . . . So - On That Note: I want to request once again and remind EVERYONE to remember that a video may be posted as one of "You" entries into the contest - NO OTHER Random Posting of Videos are allowed . . . Just Sayin' . . .

So much more I want to comment on - like Internet, availability of DSL, and "Old People" being the only ones using cable . . . But I think that is enough for now, maybe I will come back later to post what I wanted to say . . .


Guess it is time to check out some of the other ECF neighborhoods too . . .
