This is bad pun morning, so duck...
I did that with an almost full bottle of sesame oil a couple days ago, not fun
If you had broken the bottle out in the "Street" and Big Bird showed up, would it have been fun then?
had them act up before then all of a sudden start working again.
You are in a high dust area, right? How often do you take the covers off and clean all the dust out? Dirt in the motors can cause them not to work, but it can also just put some drag on them that, depending on how your heater electronics works, could send a signal to the circuit board to not turn on heat because the fan can't blow it out. Just another possibility...

So true. Too many people want to run to the doctor these days over any little thing. Not saying that's what you did @tiggerrts just people in general. I think we're destroying our natural immune system. Making ourselves that much more susceptible to the zombie virus that's coming.
Oh you said it.........I can't believe how some people are.....*whine* "I'm sick, it hurt, I have to go to the doctor" *whine*whine*
they never let their own bodies fix it, or even give it a chance to fix itself........not saying that's what we all do here.....but geeze.....some people...

I'm out of the hospital. The diagnosis is gall bladder, but it's not emergent. I'm to fill scrips for hydrocodone, carafate, and prilosec and get to my primary...

Sorry to hear that, at least you know what it is now. I had mine removed several years ago, it had gone septic. I started shivering uncontrollably, felt like I was freezing to death except it was Texas, middle of August and about 104F at the time. I hope you get to feeling better.

yup not tiggs, I let the body do the work... It is rare for me to get sick; but when I do it is fast and harsh. Cooking some stuff and see how it will go.

I'm sorry to hear you were in the hospital, Shawn. Does that mean you are facing surgery? :(

1. Good afternoon Treefam. It's sunny here today, but cold.

@Shawn Hoefer - glad they got it figured out, but sorry to hear you're going through that...sending lots of healing vibes for you.

@tiggerrts - hope you feel better real soon. Take it easy and get plenty of fluids. I can sympathize since I had that same thing back in December. Ginger ale is what helped me out the most.

That's good. I had a gallbladder scare a couple of years ago and they scheduled surgery before they even did an ultrasound. Turned out to be really bad reflux and they had to cancel the surgery! Apparently the symptoms are similar. I ended up having to have surgery anyway, though. I had a Lap Band and it was what was causing the horrible reflux, lol. I'm all better now, but I was on Actogal for 8 months last year to help prevent gallstones after another surgery. I'm glad all that is behind me and that I know how to prevent both gallstones and reflux now. No more surgery for meeee! :D

...tried resetting multiple times and still not working - these fancy full of electronic board things are a pain.
Yep....sorry it is your HEAT tho ....I spent several hours yesterday "taking a class" in the wonders and pitfalls of Shredder repair :-x ...
It's been a long while since my multimeter saw the light of day ...and I really didn't want to go on to the "Joy of Testing and Replacing Relays" ...so I left it for nother day ...*sigh*
Then I came across an ingenious YouTube vid that showed me how to convert my $70 hi-tech shredder into a Munually Operated one *light bulb* ....involved drilling out an access hole to the motor shaft...attaching some low tech nuts/bolts and hardware ...and a handle out of tubular casing *grin* ...and voila ... a handcrank operated Shredder!! :rickroll:
I thumb my nose at black outs/brownouts and no electricity ! bwahahahahahahahha :)

@cooladdict How come you're not in on this? You stalk me everywhere else... :pervy: j/k
hahahhahaha...oh...she pops in here occasionally :) Luv ya , Cool!

My Ma had to have an emergency gallbladder removal...few years back
To know my Ma...the doc had told her about 15 yrs before that she had some small gallstones ..and to keep an eye on them ...so by the time she couldn't stand it anymore (which is sying ALOT knowing my ma!) ...she had like 3 of them...as big as golfballs.
She came thru surgery just fine ...they were ready to release her , when she went into an unwitnessed cardiac arrest. She wasn't on a heart monitor ..and it was only by chance of what I can only call a "miracle" that an aide she had befriended in another unit decided to pop in to see her. Turns out she had some sort of septsis ..and it systematically shut down her liver, her kidneys ..then her heart. They had her on a ventilator ..and dialysis for a coupla weeks ..but to all our amazement...she came out of it ...and to this day is pretty darn healthy for an octagentarian (?) .... We had a family friend I've known all my Life who had his gall bladder taken out ...he was also pretty up there in age ....and he too died from a cardiac arrestduring/ or following the surgery, idk. ...we think from the same thing Mom had ...So be careful you guys ....it's not as simple of an operation as they make it out to be...all surgery involves risk (as does Life) ...Prevention is generally your best bet ;)
End of rant ...but if it can save just one Life.....
