Happy earth day treefam. Today was my mommy's birthday. In honor of her I thought I'd share one of her favorite poems lol


My daddy had a toothache to the dentist he did go, to have that aching tooth pulled out because it ached him so. But when he got into the chair he wasn't quite so bold. He wouldn't open up his mouth so the dentist couldn't get a hold. Said the dentist to the office girl you go and get a pin, reach it up and underneath the chair, and when I wink your jab it in.

The dentist winked, the pin went in, the tooth came out with the ajar. "By the God" said dad "I didn't know that the routes went down so far".

TIOA Sns 8 eps 21: Darlin was always up, when the man came in, she would be looking at him every time. Whether she was still lying in Angel's arms, or if she was sitting beside her. One morning the man came in "Hello lovely, time to wake up." He waited for Angel to stir and look at him. "Seems the courts have decided, you two are to be executed." He placed the cup down with water, and the plate; there was just enough bread for Darlin, and the bowl had very little for both.

Darlin got up and walked towards the food and drink, she looked at the man the whole time. He turned around and shut the door, it was dark. "I do not like that man, Angel what is executed?" Angel spoke to her softly and as calmly as she could. Darlin listened carefully. When Angel had finished there was light in the room. As if four torches were burning in the air, just floating there. A warm breeze blew past Angel.

She watched Darlin bend down and grab the cup, and the plate with the bowl. She stood up and turned around. There were now four pieces of bread and the bowl was almost overflowing with the soup and hardy; lots of veggies and meat. Darlin walked over to Angel and set it all down, she sat down and they both began to eat.

"I don't think I like executed." said Darlin finally while still eating.

No our lizards aren't poisonous, but they do make you sick if you try to eat them. That's why the vet wasn't too worried about it because he knew it was just a really bad upset stomach.

The lizard king (ha, I love that Robin) is much better today. According to my son, he's almost all the way back to his obnoxious, get outta my way, that's mine, self!

Well, I was woken up early to really sad news today. Our neighbor here at the bf's, who is a really good family friend, her husband passed away this morning. He was only 60 years old! ...That's only a few years older than the bf. Bf's mom is devastated because she was really close to them both. Sad, sad day.

2. Thanks guys. Yeah it was a shock since he's not that old. But then again, it's kind of a blessing, because he's been suffering with one thing after another healthwise. At least now he won't suffer anymore.

TIOA Sns 8 eps 22: Count was fairly tired, being up during the day and night. He had still found out nothing, and heard nothing. Tomorrow was his last day, he ate and went to bed. The letter said it was an all day event, he would have to be present.

He awoke late, the sun was already up, wonderful smells in the air. He washed up and got dressed in something casual. He went down the stairs with a skip and a smile to all those below. He promptly went outside. Four full cows were being cooked, six pigs were ready to start cooking soon and eight lamb. He walked around for a while and noticed the same thing was happening in more than one location.

He walked a long time and finally came full circle back to where he started, five large cookouts just like this were being done. Something big was happening. He walked over to one of the cookers. "This smells wonderful, can I have some?" "Well of course sir." While cutting a piece off for Count. "What is the celebration?" "Oh it really is not a celebration, the ruler does this every now and then. If there is an announcement to be made, or something is happening. I guess in a way it is a celebration, listen to me."

HAPPY EARTH DAY! Well, sunny and already 60 *F, but the wind is about 35 mph, so I'm gonna get a lot of grass/weed chaff in my face while mowing today - but it has to be done because the weather dudes say it will rain tomorrow and, believe it or not, they are forecasting 33 degrees and snow for next week. How's that grab ya, @liblue1 ? Anyway, gonna be outside all day again. Talk at y'all again later tonight.

TIOA Sns 8 eps 23: Darlin and Angel were made to stay in the cell longer, each morning Darlin still looked at the man; every time he entered. The only difference was there were four torches floating in the air, the room temperature was pleasant; and there always seemed to be leftovers. Seven days later. "Time to get up ladies." Darlin was looking at him, Angel finally stirred. "Get up Angel. Today is both of your days." Angel looked at him sternly, and got up. "You have to eat first and get washed up, your clothes are no good; come on." The man took the key and unlocked the door, six more guards entered the room. Darlin walked forward, Angel followed behind her, she looked at each one of them; her eyes were saying okay.

They were allowed to eat as much as they wanted, the variety plenty. The baths were very warm and pleasant, ask for more heat or cool and it was given. Finally bathed, the two were made to freshen up with fresh scents of flowers and they were even placed in their hair; white robes were all that was given them.

Count watched through the day, he did not eat much; he just munched really. He sat near the main entrance to the castle and listened. He got up and went to his room around four, he spent an hour getting ready, freshened up; stepped out and was ready for the evening, or night. He walked back down the stairs, all eyes were on him.

Finally got myself motivated... Sort of anyway. Went and had some clam chowder for lunch. It's cloudy and sprinkling rain on and off. Mostly off so that's a good thing but it's just gray out and 63°.

Probably should go for a walk. I'll catch y'all later. Have a good afternoon!
