Good Mornin' / G'Night and Good Vibes Tree Fam!
Good morning, everyone. Only four more days until the weekend for those who care about that sort of thing...
I do!

@Fuzzy Thunderbear - I'm wore out just from reading your last post. ;)

Have a terrific day, everyone!

I loved those trees when I lived in Hawaii. They look like someone painted them.

So back when I was in exile we had tenants next door who abandoned a dog for four days before we got fed up and went over there...assuming the dog had at least been some left food and water. . .
Nope! Locked in the bathroom with no evidence of food ever being in there and the toilet seat down so the poor thing couldn't even get a drink...she was in rough shape.
Black lab with issues is a death sentence in a shelter so, we got the last thing we need a gangly, hyper-active puppy who has digestion issues to add to our other three (we only chose the first two).
She's so sweet, but she is the hardest dog to manage and train. She likes wrestling with the others...loudly and constantly and eating computer mice, wife's tablet pen for her art, guitar cords, game controllers, nose spray, furniture. . .

But she's good doge, very good doge.
oh and tree,

Well @GolemGolem I don't have a dog that big that eats everything, but I did end up with a weiner/minpin mix that does that. I feel your pain on that one. I can literally walk out of the room for 5 minutes, and come back to find something chewed up. It's frustrating, but I couldn't give her up after where she came from.

Yeah I also have a sweet little long jack russel/dachshund/snake/beaver with pica but she normally just eats fabric and paper (she makes ropes when she's done). . .and an old jack/schnauzer/corgi/stoat/badger/cop that requires a security blanket to chew and protect and love-physically and will get one off the bed if his is out of sight...but, it's a whole new level with Gangles there.
Oh and then we have the role-model dog that is relaxingly well behaved:

mornin tree fam
2/8#4 well I'm a grandad. 40yrs old way to young for that. But once I held that little guy in my arms it all seemed ok.
CONGRATZ New Grandad! You know...I was a lil cornfused by your first post as it also announced that you were a new granddad...but you posted a pic of a cub with it ... ...so I'm glad you clarified that :thumb:
Yep....I am not a grandparent ...but even aunts and uncles get a lil more slack! ENJOY! :)

@fatum I am lovin' the pacifier tree! Do you reckon any of them ever get swapped out for an upgrade???!.

Where do you all find time to be everywhere at once?
well..there is the being in more than one place at one time theory  ..and I am betting there are alot of fast typers, multi task wizzards and tech advanced techies in the room! I am none of those ...so I struggle. And I am making a concerted effort to prioritize more and eat more "frogs" ..for those of us familiar with the motivational tactic of "eating your worse fears" first ...first thing in the mornin . MMMmmmm . Nummy frogs. A friend uses "Lobster" instead of frog ...To each their own fears.

@DaleH1985 ...Say Warm! :nun:

@GolemGolem aww....thank you for saving the poor sweetie. But I gotta say ....even I can see the mischief in her eye! What did you name her , Trouble??!! No...I Hope you named her Angel ...becuz we know she's a lil devil, but we can hope for the best! ;)
I mean.. just look at that look in her eye!!

@fatum ....you might have missed my post?...about Uncle's catallergyophobia?
We have found an equitable work-around tho....as Uncle is allergic to pics of cats as well, it seems ...:(
You simply click on the + symbol in the Tools bar of the post...and click "Spoiler" ...then typw a Warning into the Title ...Like ..."Danger Uncle, Do Not Open!" then
It will look like this:
cat%20in%20tree.jpg
Put your beloved felines inside the Spoiler ...and you are Golden :D

Well...folks I've been saving some pretty unsavoryy frogs for last...so talk to you all tonight.
And have a good day!
:tumble:

That's how most of the "farms" are around here now. People do it because they enjoy it. It's hard to make a living doing it anymore unless you have a couple thousand acres.
Yup, I hear ya there. Actually, when I woke up this morning, I figured that after chores and breakfast, I'd come down here and delete my last post because I thought maybe I was being a bit harsh or even mean or angry-sounding. There truly are days when I wonder how old I have to get before I can actually "retire." I always thought "retired" meant you could stop working and just take it easy from here on out... HA! Truth is, ever since my six years USAF (immediately after high school) up until "retirement," I have always had a desk job - you know, tired brain at the end of the day, but the body wasn't beat up. In the 12 years we have been on our "hobby" farm, I have put out more physical exertion than all the rest of my life combined. And if you don't bleed a little every day, you ain't working hard enough. Problem is, I think I stopped enjoying it, but Wifey is determined to play farmer and someone has to support her desire to fondle milk cows, so I guess I'm stuck with the "job."
I'm wore out just from reading your last post.
Robin, dear one, I didn't even write out the longest hardest day. That was just "average." During the summer, I have been known to put in 12-14 hours a day, which I figure ain't bad for a "disabled" oldt phart. :) There's lots of mowing, pruning, tilling the garden, fertilizing, building sheds, designing and building new furniture, etc., etc. ad nauseum... ON TOP OF all that other crap. (you already read all the "go to the field to cut trees into firewood rounds" stuff) Any of you city folks want to do a stint on-the-farm this year? I could use a day off. ;)

OK, stupid rant OFF now. :D

Don't know whether to ask this here or move it to the pagan forum :) but how do those of us who have no fears eat that which does not exist? Hmmmm... maybe I do have a fear... staying alive but not having a productive life, in which case I get to "eat" the farm everyday. I can only detect one "fear" (I think), and that would be to become useless. Did that make any sense?

..The thot haz crossed my mind, Fuzzy! Unfortch you will need a "fresh" supply of YoungBlood every Summer ...and I am fast approaching the oldt Phart category . (Who IS that oldt phart in my mirror??!!) ........
I fear you and I would have wheelbarrow races...taking turns wheelbarrowing one another from one chore to the next! ...But it does cross my mind. I DO understand where u r coming from...having been raised in the company of Amish Country Dairy Folks. (...and that 10 yr stint in Alaska)...and I know YOU know I get it ...only I had help sometimes  . (and no...I didn't think you sounded angry or hard, etc) ...that is just the reality of your Life right now ...it is what it is ...and I am positive some days are harder to face than others....Whether you are behind a pitchfork or behind a desk or a typewriter ..or behind an apron or a vacuum.....I have seen burly grown men up in AK lose it and curl up into little fetal position balls under the strain of it ....and you are one tuff guy, Fuz. :nun: You have my respect and awe.
