After 10 days of being sick, I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel. I have meetings the next two nights, so I'll be going in late both days, which helps because I'm worse in the mornings.

The HR offices have finally started doing some of what they should've already done. Wonder how long it'll take and how many times for them to get it right.
Found that HQ gave me some bad info last week - waiting for the correct numbers now.
After 10 days of being sick, I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel. I have meetings the next two nights, so I'll be going in late both days, which helps because I'm worse in the mornings.

Well the boss showed up unexpectedly for a visit today, so wasn't able to be on here. Looks like things have been a little slow in here, so not much to catch up on. Having one of those hard to keep my eyes open kind of days. Maybe more coffee would help...

It is rater lonely here today. Slow day at work too. I guess it's just one of those days. Wishing I was a little closer to the end of my day, but it is what it is.

Good to hear you're finally starting to feel better. I've known a couple other people that have had a nasty bug they couldn't shake as well.

I need to vent. Got a new virtual image of our demo system today. It runs slow as hell, CPU all the time above 95% usage. Called the peeps in Portugal, their response: it runs just fine here.
So back to my laptop for standard error checking. Strangely all the other images that I have run just fine.
Bulb-light: I call them again and ask if they are using the image as well. Off course not, they are on the system of which they build the image. Next question: did you test the image? ... silence ... no
AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh
Conclusion: I need booze!
