Still trying to get some parts/info from places - main problem is that the different HR sections won't talk to each other.

Wow, you're going to be here pretty quick! I know you're busy preparing and packing, but try to make time for things and/or places you won't be able to do/see once your in the states.

Meeting night for me and Happy Hump Day. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Good morning everyone. Well another day and no baby yet. Wife is still hanging in there, but I think it will br go time soon. She is getting rather uncomfortable and having some early symptoms. So glad work isn't too far from home, cause sure enough I will be here when she is ready to go. I think my daughter knows its close as well, because she has been acting up and not wanting to sleep at night, which is very unusual because she has been sleeping all night for the past several months.

Having one of those "I just don't want to be here" kind of days at work today. Nothing out of the ordinary going on, just really feel like I don't wanna be here today.

Also, anyone heard from GMO? Been wondering how he is.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all! NWS/NOAA forecast and Doppler this morning implied it was gonna snow on us again today. I looked out the window and said, "Those clouds are too high and the surface wind is from the wrong direction. Ain't gonna happen." And it didn't. Sky is clearing and the snow has passed without any of it falling on us. So maybe I can go cut more wood today...

They have this policy, apparently, that all forecasts are made via computer models - actually logic and thinking by humans is not allowed.
But one would think think that you can take your instincts and make a program tell that what you are saying........(I guess you are like Tornado Tommy in Category 6 & 7).....stick you finger & nose up and tell what's going to happen....

Was that the guy who got picked up by the tornado in his SUV and thrown in the lake? I really don't remember those movies well, but I am kinda like the star of twister; feels humidity and wind, watches what the cloud is doing and pretty much knows it isn't going to follow "the model." Speaking of which, the computer model used for the Great Plains states is the same one developed for Spain. NWS claims it is the most accurate. If that is accurate, I'd hate to see inaccurate. Why didn't they develop one for here specifically? Why use a European leftover? Maybe because they don' t think there are enough people here (just bunch of dang ranchers...) to make it worth reprogramming their computers. Who knows why they are so friggin' lazy...

Yes one of my all time favorites......Randy Quaid does the best job.........I also love Twister.....another favorite....I bet I watched them 50 times each....The best part....

And yes lazy is the best word used......although I can think of a few more.....

Afternoon treefam. We were approved for a mortgage woohoo. Now we can find a new house and not be so concerned with selling this one first. Piggy is going house shopping this weekend. Her work is also going to pay to fly me down to look at houses and for the closing. Everything is coming together well.
