Well baby kylee is here. We came to the hospital at 3:30 this morning. Kylee was born at 11:07 am and weighed 5 lbs 8 ounces. A very beautiful healthy girl.

Suitcases are packed - just need to finish the carry on in the morning before making the dreaded drive to the airport.

My car wasn't needed for the trip to the dump... I helped load and waited for any stragglers, but was told by the other two parents not to bother following to the weighing station.

Good morning, everyone. I've been drafted to help my daughter's class collect recycling drop-offs (they earn "town bucks" for bottles/cans) this morning... Don't call me a "Garbage Man," I prefer "Sanitation Engineer."

You must be PC..........

I'm up later than normal so time to unplug and head for bed.

...when is now ...it's a process ... it begins in my head and expresses itself outward ...
But the actually digging is the work...it's taking what's in my head and physically creating it outward... this is where the rubber meets the road ...with actual shovel ..or keyboard as it is ... in hand ...I don't like it...I don't want to ... I just hafta do it.
Steven Pressfield (some of you know him as authoring Gates of Fire..) writes that if you set yourself about your work...without thought of reward ...no, only for the sake of the work...the Muse will come . If I keep digging...I will eventually get to where I am going ....
(no...and it's not China! )
...tho I wish to visit there...and the Wall...one day..

Good morning all. Happy Friday (to those for whom that means something). 28 degrees outside. Windy. Have a lot of outside work to do, but am not sure much of it will get done - at least not with any enthusiasm. Such is life. Get on with it.
