I know this is real late in the day for a first post, but... Well, yesterday I was outside working most of the day in all that lovely fresh air.. Lannie was inside making bread and baking it, using a propane stove that we knew had some problems and I have been trying to get it to work right with only partial success. I came in with a load of firewood and the smell of raw propane almost knocked me on my ..... I told her to open all the windows and doors and get outside for some air. She didn't notice because the buildup was slow and she had been breathing it and got used to it, but that stove was putting out enough propane that if we had still been smokers and she lit one, it probably would have made the house explode. Why didn't I get a professional to come fix it, you ask. Because the nearest one is over 100 miles away and they will not come out this far to work on these things. Sure, I could have taken the stove to them, then drove back to get it next month - you ever tried to eat for a month with nothing to cook on? So, today, Lannie and I went to Rapid City and bought (well, charged) a new kitchen range, then ate at Barfer King on the way home. I will install the new stove tomorrow.
