Thanks for all the congrats everyone! I appreciate it! It makes just getting home from work to find a leaky water supply line much more bearable!

Am hoping to get my computer reloaded with software today.
It has taken 2 days to fix the Windows 10 bugs.
Had to go back all the way to the initial factory settings.
What a pain.

So explain to me why videos freeze on my second HDMI monitor through Chrome but are fine through Mozilla. Both are fine on the 1st monitor.
I did not have this problem before I started rebuilding the system. That is the only weird thing that seems to be happening now.
Searching for a fix has not been successful.
But at least I can watch a movie on the big screen tonight.
So explain to me why videos freeze on my second HDMI monitor through Chrome but are fine through Mozilla. Both are fine on the 1st monitor.

Still have a headache... But I got MOST of my errands taken care of..unfortunately I still have to go buy a wedding gift tomorrow.
About to sit here in the dark so hopefully this headache will at least subside a little

I wish I could help you, but I've been holding off on upgrading to Win10... although with the months zipping by, I'll probably have to pull the trigger sooner than I expect.
That sounds like what happened when some friends and I went to see "Event Horizon" in the theaters (was that really nearly 20 years ago?I just finished watching 10 Cloverfield Lane. The first half was quite slow, but the ending is whoa!
). It was a nice, spooky sci-fi ghost story for a while and then WHAM! We all staggered out of the theater and stared at each other, shell-shocked.

So all apps are loaded and a restore point has been made.
The only weird thing is that video freeze on Chrome.
Tomorrow I will go through and clean up the start up programs.
I don't know why everything is automatically started up - I don't use nearly as many apps on a regular basis.
Now for dinner - luckily there are good left overs, no cooking required - and a relaxing evening.
So all apps are loaded and a restore point has been made.
